How does this work? If I take a ML play it only counts as one loss? For instance Tampa -280 loses I am 0-1?
no I believe hammy counts it as a 2.8 unit loss
If Tampa loses, you lose 2.8 units, or GAMES.
I'm re-evaluating ML plays for this contest anyway because my initial comments that "no one in here can pick 60% winners over the span of 100 games" were based on the REALISTIC picks everyone puts up at this site. It isn't too often in here you see a guy put out a pick that's -350 let alone -600. I made my claim after watching most everybody here miss on their picks DAY IN and DAY OUT..but these picks were 99.9% off of SPREADS, with the exception of baseball and hockey, where you'd be lucky to see -350 AND UP at all. Even if you had a poster in here only playing LARGE ML FAVS., he'd be bashed off this site within a week. Everybody would be dogging his ass.
Bottom line is this: These guys, mainly KODIAK7 , see themselves losing this contest real quick so they are looking at ways to gain an advantage by picking LARGE FAVS. to win OUTRIGHT ONLY. Now, how realistic is that in the REAL WORLD?--who has these UNLIMITED BANKROLLS. This isn't the means by which you all guys pick games in the NFL and NCAA Forums.
I hope you all can see where I'm coming from and where this is going.
