Youre right in that he WAS at Grambling. Its OK that you was wrong in your assumption here, but hey thats what forums are all about sharing information, right?

Yep, you are right. i was wrong here. See, folks i admit it when i'm wrong.

I can't beleive he's been there for 3 years, i thought that would have been recent. Seems like everytime I hear him talk, all he talks about is Grambling and Eddie robinson. Now, i do know he's dead.

Yes, I mean running quarterbacks. i'm a warren moon fan but part of his success did come with the Run N shoot in Houston. never modified my position, but I just don't want to type all of that out everytime being that nowadays all the ones we are talking about are the running kind except leftwich but he just sucks all around anyway

Culpepper and Russell seem to be more of "pocket passers" also.

Yeah right. How did Culpepper mess up his knee you know basically 2 years ago? It was from running

part of it too, and most will say this is racist, but there takes alot of brain power and work ethic to be a quarterback in the NFL, it makes you wonder if this is a reason they fail also.

Its been covered. first of all, he was a pocket passer unlike the homeboy QB's we have today, second he benefitted SOME from the new Run N Shoot at the time that took NFL defenses a little while to adapt too.

Good quarterback though but he was a pure pocket guy unlike the homeboys that are currently in the NFL that have proven they are not franchise guys.

Current Franchise guys

Peyton
Brady
Palmer
Brees

Some other white ones you could perhaps argue about but there is no black one that is even in the mix. Hell, ,they are hurt too much

Any white guys who you would classify as not being a "pocket guy" who were succesful? Steve Young?

Wait, let me get this right.

You make a blanket statement about black QB's.
Then, someone brings up Warren Moon which directly contradicts your statement, so now you have amended your statement to only include "homeboys?" and no black pocket passers?

This is asinine.

Randall Cunningham - franchise QB

Drew Brees - how in the hell is he a franchise QB? He's been to the playoffs twice with 2 different franchises.

And then to say Moon was a system QB is stupid too, how many QB's out there thrive in the right system? Brady is one of them.

So why would you not just say pocket passers make a more sold QB to build a franchise around, in your opinion.

I don't know why people bother responding. If we just left him alone and didn't pay attention to his posts he'd go away. He does it for attention.

You guys all respond so damn quick it gets annoying after awhile. Yeah, i didn't mention moon because is there a QB you see like him today that is a pocket passer except for leftwich which just sucks.

One at a freakin time. my God.

Look here are some facts about the RUNNING black quarterbacks.

1. They miss at least 1 season due to injury
2. They are not bright enough to memorize an NFL playbook
3. They are by far out of their prime at age 30( remeber while still missing a season)
4. Most brag about bein gangsta which just can't be good

There are more, but that all i can think of right now. when 10 of you respond at 1 time, its hard to keep it all straight
