The most overated teams I think would be
#1 USC- Hasn't won anything recently
#2 Ohio State- Never wins anything
#3 Texas- Never wins anything

georgia is a real decent team. if you are saying they're overrated vs the preseason top 2 well, of course you're right but they are certainly one of the top 20 teams in the nation. tough schedule, tons of injuries, and a shaky D but still won plenty of games. By no means are they the top 5 team folks assumed they would be but there's factors beyond just "being overrated" that you're missing

check the date when the thread was started.

someone bumped this from the preseason. i made this thread when everyone was calling this team preseason #1 and easily preseason top5

i said they were a top 15 team, MAYBE top 10

OSU -2002
USC 2003 and 2004
Texas 2005.

I guess if never means the last 3 years, then you are correct.

Florida hasn't been undefeated in 90 years- FACT

Yes. My 3 year old asked me if there was an SEC team in the National Championship Game every year. That's all he's ever known. I feel so bad for you bigtendominator. I know it has to be tough going all the way back to '02 for some Glory. As for being undefeated; I knew that would come from someone outside of the SEC. I will take 3 CFB National Championships in 12 years over being undefeated. I guess a 1 point loss is pretty damn close though :missingte. Keep trying to win these useless forum arguments and my team will keep bringing home the Crystal Balls!!

How does the old saying go? "Florida -- they have the tradition of Wake Forest and the arrogance of Notre Dame."

Must of been quoted before the spurrier era or during the Zook era. Sorry, but way off kilter bringing that to the table. Like the last poster said, if UF wins that will be 3 National Titles in 12 years... try again dick weed.

Good call Box. I thought UGA was going to be for real....at least I didn't see them getting their ass kicked 3 times (although GT was only a 3 point loss they got run all over!).....
