This doesn't look like a guy upset to be with the Jets.

Doesn't Deanna remind you of Cap's wife Cindy in "Any Given Sunday" smacking Brett in the face after he retired telling him you are a professional quarterback!

Gawd you guys are a bunch of gomers...

Hello...the Pack stuck it to Favre...because he asked for it.

No big surprise.

Are you sure? Or is it that the Packers could see through his BS and know he is just an attention grabbing whore and he doesn't have the drive that he once had?

McCARTHY is no dummy.........that should be evident by now.

He knows Favre is not totally committed to playing, just like Brett himself stated.

I think McCarthy is one helluva good football coach.

why should it be evident? has he ever won without brett?

his job, as well as the GM, is on the line. if rodgers is a bust, lookout.

Steve Young waited 4 years on the sidelines for Joe Montana to finish his career and he turned out to be a HOF. I'm not suggesting Aaron Rodgers is destined to be the next Steve Young but this could turn out be much better for the Packers. Rodgers just needs a chance.

Some of you have forgotten the day( If they even EXISTED) of just playing a game you love. Farve, is a guy that never grew up. He may be a bust in wherever, but he's a guy you like. Plays with HIS heart. Man--I wish that was the way of the world.
The night his dad passed--He was obsessed. He will be again. If you don't like HIM---You must be really sick beyond what I can imagine. Even if his season is not a+.

Last year was arguably the best team surrounding Favre and he pissed down his leg in their biggest game.

I'm a Bears fan, thats why. I respect everything he has brought to the game. Most of the public hate Brett Favre, The Attention Whore.

exactly.no way green bay benefits from losing brett favre and no way the new york jets dont gain from getting him.puts people in the seats,a new stadium, merchandising deals in a enormous market, this is a very exciting time for jets fans.which is rare.

those season ticketsholders for the jets and new york and jersey fans are going to have a great year of football

There seems to be are alot of people who want favre to fail and there is alot of jealousy towards favre. All the favre bashing posts are bizarre.the guy was and still is an incredible quarterback.I wonder if these favre bashers have wives watching a little too much espn and favre.I saw a bunch of women in the mall lounge we were in, watching favre leave green bay on espn and they were all entranced with the story and I have never seen women watching espn much

There is no way favre deal hurts the jets, anything near 8 wins and wild card is success, just being there and bringing excitement to jets football is a victory.

the packers and mccarthy and their front office have a lot to prove and alot to lose

He is a top-5 coach. The GB organization really turned around since he's been there.

So at what point does he tarnish his legacy? Or does that even matter?
