Name themIt's 1% plain and simple - plenty young relievers out here with a good number of saves...
Actually less than 1%%%

Just like you weren't going to post until after the All-Star break when Tiger finished out of the Top 10 in a particular tournament?
Less than 1% chance IMO.
.Mariano Rivera, the last major leaguer still wearing the late Hall of Famer's No. 42 on a daily basis, closed for a save
I could list 100 that dominated for a span..
Well said above..
Calling Keith Foulke, Bobby Thigpen, Jose Mesa, Todd Percival, Todd Worrell, Bob Wickman. Eric Gagne, Brian Wilson, Jeff Shaw, Chad Cordero, joe borowski, and Ron Nen.
adding solame barojas, Al Hrabosky and Willie Hernandez.
Comparing Kimbrel to the likes of Mesa, Worrell, Wickman, Cordero,Borowski, Nen, and Gagne just shows a complete lack of knowledge and understanding.
Its laughable that anyone would mention any of those guys in the same paragraph, much less the same sentence.
All those guys had over 46 saves in a year Cordero at 23.
It would take Gene Garber 60 years to get 612 saves.
in several years this thread will be a joke like Mark Davis, Joe Borowski, Steve Bedrosian and Danny Graves...
Jorge Julio was doing good at 23 years old...

I'll go in detail on the 1% chance soon (injuries, death etc)-- all possibilities.
Glad the Braves are doing well this year, it helps his chances. Rivera had a perfect storm with good teams during his run, Craig's will not be better.
