The last few years Bayern has struggled on the road in this spot. Champions league game, knock out stage, away from home. Seems like no matter where it is they stunk it up vs average teams but strong defenses. But, today things look a little bit brighter in this situation with a different manager and versus a weak English team who Bayern thrashed in leg 1. Bayern is up 5-1 and they are starting their strongest lineup which tells me they aren't sitting back...they will play to win. Even if it is a 1-1 game late the possibilities of trying for another goal are good just because Arsenal will constantly be pushing and Bayern will have no other option but to play with an open mind because the match is already in hand. But they still have lost these away knockout CL games 3-0 or 4-0 to Porto and had to turn it around in the 2nd leg. So there is a certain negative linger here from the past that Bayern needs to conquer and overcome imo. and this is the perfect situation and opponent for them to do it with. I just see a different situation here and hopefully a winning result

Today I'm going against the grain somewhat. Barcelona is the world's best. But to not be able to score on the road in the first leg at all will be the key. Looking at the lineups I think Barca understands the situation and giving up a goal will result in needing 6 goals in order to advance. In other words, Barca can't concede. The thing about this PSG team and the difference from last year was Ibra. I didn't understand what it means to play with Zlatan. He demands so much and it's Zlatan first and then the rest of the team. That's where this PSG team showed offensively how much of a team they are without Ibra. Now in a situation where they need to protect their 4 goal lead, they have the opportunity to show defensively how much of a team they are without Ibra. and they have the right personnel for it. I also think the over is a bit over saturated due to all of the high scoring games in the champions league. I have faith PSG can lose 2-0, 2-1.

I think Dortmund will be placed in the situation where they will need 3 goals vs Benfica. I've seen Benfica score when no one expects them to. Listening to Dortmunds manger it would seem like they already are planning to score four goals here. But I don't think Benfica will go quietly

They packed it in as I expected, but they made stupid clearances. The 2nd goal should never have happened. Going into halftime 1-0 would have changed the outcome. But, I gave them too much credit defensively. They aren't that type of side. The head coach is a clown. Can't win them all.
