The UFC is making its way back to Phoenix.
The company announced Friday it will hold a UFC Fight Night card at Talking Stick Arena on Sat. Jan. 15.
No main event has been announced yet for the FS1 card, but three bouts were named for the show:
Heavyweights Cyril Asker (7-2) of Avignon, France vs. Dmitri Smoliakov (8-1) of Kaliningrad City, Russia
Heavyweight Viktor Pesta (10-3) of Prague, Czech Republic vs. Damian Grabowski (20-4) of Opole, Poland
Light heavyweights between Joachim Christensen (13-4) of Copenhagen, Denmark vs. Bojan Mihalovic (10-4) of Serbia.

Those in Houston for Super Bowl LI who are looking for something to do on the night before the big game will have a night of UFC fights on tap.
The UFC announced they'll hold a UFC Fight Night card at Houston's Toyota Center on Sat., Feb. 4, on the evening before the NFL crowns a champion at NRG Stadium.
No matchups have yet been announced for the card, which will be broadcast on FS1

Yoel Romero will apparently get this shot at UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping, after all.
According to Bisping, he spoke with UFC President Dana White, who pitched the fight for UFC 208, which takes place Jan. 21 in Anaheim, Calif. However, after fighting three times this year and getting some “injections in my knee,” Bisping told White he’d like some time to enjoy the holidays and nurse up some injuries before committing to a full training camp.
A failed drug test and some questionable in-cage tactics aside, Romero has earned his shot, according to Bisping. Although an exact date isn’t set, he expects the title fight to happen in early 2017.
“Sometime in spring – 100 percent – book the fight,” Bisping said he told White during their call. ” … So it’s looking like that will be the next fight unless something else transpires in some other situation, but it’s looking like me and Yoel sometime in the spring.”

Bigfoot Silva vs. Ivan Shtyrkov ... November 18th in Russia ... Silva reportedly getting paid $500,000
Ivan Shtyrkov took the victory by three-round decision at RCC Boxing Promotions in Yekaterinburg.
The fight could have easily been stopped in the second round when Shtyrkov repeatedly teed off with punches to Silva's face on the ground and in the turtle position. But the referee allowed it to go on and "Bigfoot" somehow survived the onslaught.
Silva, 37, might have even come back to win the third round against his exhausted Russian opponent. The first round was a tossup, with Silva landing some damaging blows, but Shtyrkov putting forth more volume and cumulative damage.
