ECC. I was not bashing I was just pointing out to people the down-side to chase systems. The people I know who do chase betting do okay, the people who parlay are aways broke. As I said "Good Luck" this year.

wasn't directed towards you sorry if it came out that way.

rxb@ll Chasing ...........ever watch a dog chase his tail? Thank you i think you get the picture

base ball is a ML sport run lines are an alternate that many locals use on large chalks like instead of - 220 odds you lay 2 1/2 runs for even money.

I read every chase system at other forums also one guy says greatest ever system in past 5 years goes 2461 - 0 LMAO wait a friggin minute how can you not lose any games?

it's a 6 game chase system he claims is his own making LMFAO most games won on the 1st game and 2nd game going like 83.6 % wins

but it's not 83.6 % wins the A games win like 59.7% b Games win 23.9 % or something like that

i wish i could take him on in MLB truly i'd love to see him win going for $10,000 cash held in secure funds

but i'm new to sports betting .......... one guy put him to challenge using his old methods of proven money management and other methods of betting but the chase system guy called him clueless and others who are waiting like lil kids for his plays are bashing the old timer also!

I hope the dummies get buried I know they will because no one has the funds to survive chase system losses

even with flat odds 100 to win 100 a 3 game chase loss will wipe out your start bank to try and win 1 unit on game 4 of chase as the chase system guy says is the sweet spot.

Here,s how this works out and forget money management guys chase systems blow that out of the water because you double up after a loss
start with $1000 bank lose 1st - 100 lose 2nd - 200 lose 3rd -400 total loss = -$700 you have only $300 left of bank so you cannot gain a penny
bet the $300 you win $300 and are now - $400 you have $600 left correct ...... and dont tell me you cant lose 3 more games out of 4 or even 2 out of 3 like this $600 bet $100 lose Bet $200 Lose - $300 win the 3rd bet $300 win your back at $600

go ahead go chasing byebye)(&^

I read the article you mentioned about the challenge. That guys math was so bad it was a joke. He wanted to make the challenge using a 59% win rate. In his example he had 29 wins at 5000 for 145000. That really looks good but not once did he factor the 20 losses. They were using a 1.5 line so now you take 20 losses x 5000 x 1.5 which is 150000. So the winner lost 5K.

Not sure why people interject their opinion. Sure chases are risky but so is gambling. Let them be no one is twisting anyone's arm to play. I personally like to watch these things unfold and many times do the math for fun. 5K profit in hockey is quite a feat in itself. Congrats to the man that tried it.

@ INTHEEND - appreciate that explanation for that other post. To answer your question to find bottom 3 teams you look everyday at overall standings for all MLB teams. Checking everyday because teams will win their way out of the bottom 3. So I've got to keep an eye on that.

MikeyLo thanks

Shouldn't the unit size by tier be the following?
tier 1=1
tier 2=2
tier 3=4
tier 4 = 8 so you are assured of 1 unit per tier. I realize these are to be plus money but to keep it simple listing is 1 unit. If you lost the last tier it would equal 15 units.

The way I look at it is with Run Lines you're getting lines at +$$ so when say the first 2 games lose you're down 3 units. To cover the 3 units the 3rd game I put at 3 Units to cover what you're down and as the RL will 90% of the time be +$$ you'll still come out on top...especially when you've got 3 units at a line that will pay avg of +125 or so.... I see this way less risk more reward. But I see your side of it where it's the u it's you listed. If you wish to do this on your own feel free but I'm going to keep this as is. At least until it prooves itself you know. I know it worked in hockey, I know it did well last year but not posted here...we'll see how it goes 2 seasons in the money can talk me into making the unit change. Thanks for the heads up though

Thanks for the clarification. I figured as such. As long as you are picking up money is all that really counts. Less lay price the better.

No prob, as long as this stays solid then I'll prob change it to the units you mentioned. I'm actually in the process of back testing the NHL season from last year. Just started it so hoping it has the same turnout which will give me 2 years of tracked profit as long as that's the case.

What happens if there are one or two differnet teams in bottom 3 tomorrow and we are still chasing these? Do we add more wagers or wait for these to finish out before moving on?
Thanks

Arent the Dbacks, Reds and Marlins/Astros the worst 3 records? Wouldnt the Nats RL be a play?
