So I was out at Fenway last night cheering on the mighty Marlins vs the Red Sox. My first live sporting in a long time...felt great to be back amongst the crowd.
Everyone seemed to be in a great mood despite the very warm temperatures. There was a decent breeze so it wasn't stifling hot.
The game was a rescheduled game from a rained out game from Memorial Day weekend. My guess is the availabilty of good seats (Stubhub) was due to the 510pm start time, the heat, or most likely the fact that the Bruins were playing at the Garden in a tense playoff series
If you have the opportunity, the Sam Adams barstool seats on the deck in upper right field are tremendous. Great scene up there. It's comfortable watching a game from a bar/barstool. It's quite a ways from home plate but I've always been a nosebleed seats kinda guy anyway.
After the game, the plan was to pop in to one of the surrounding bars for a nightcap. No chance lol. The Bruins game was still going on and the entry lines were long.
Like I said, it's great to be back out living again. Anybody else been to a game yet?
