Dallas Keuchel scattered five hits over eight scoreless innings against the Tigers on Friday en route to his second victory of the season.
Keuchel racked up four strikeouts on the night while walking only one. It was far and away the finest start of the year for the reigning American League Cy Young award winner. It's certainly impressive that he was able to hold down an offense that mashes left-handed pitching and had averaged over six runs per game heading into Friday. Keuchel will look to further improve upon his 2.18 ERA and 1.21 WHIP when he squares off against the Rangers in Texas on Thursday.
