Justin Turner (hand) is back in the Dodgers' lineup on Friday.

Turner didn't start Thursday after leaving Wednesday's game following a hit by pitch on the left hand, but he was able to get a pinch-hit RBI single in the contest. He's at third base and in the cleanup spot against Madison Bumgarner and the Giants.

The Cubs win streak is snapped at 5 games.

It was their longest win streak in April since winning 6 straight in 2008.

Logan Forsythe was forced to leave Friday's game against the White Sox after colliding with teammate Kevin Kiermaier in the outfield.

The two were involved in a nasty collision while chasing down a pop fly off the bat of Avisail Garcia to end the top half of the fourth inning. The Rays should have an update on their statuses shortly.

Rangers signed 3B Adrian Beltre to a two-year, $36 million contract extension.

The deal will keep the 37-year-old slugger in Arlington through the 2018 season. He is showing no signs of slowing down offensively, slashing .310/.370/.571 with two homers and nine RBI through the first 11 games of the 2016 campaign.

Chris Sale picked up the second shutout of his major league career on Friday, allowing just two hits over nine masterful innings against the Rays.

Sale punched out nine in the dazzling performance, while both of the hits that he allowed were singles. The 27-year-old southpaw needed just 106 pitches to complete the masterpiece, his first shutout since May 12, 2013. He now sits at 2-0 with a 2.38 ERA, 0.79 WHIP and 23/3 K/BB ratio over 23 frames on the season. He'll look to continue his dominance on Wednesday when he takes on the Angels at home.

Adonis Garcia went 2-for-4 with three RBI in Friday’s 6-3 victory over the Marlins.

Garcia got the Braves’ comeback started with an RBI double in the seventh and delivered a go-ahead two-run single in the eighth. We’re not expecting much in the way of mixed league value, but the Braves’ cleanup hitter is now batting .324/.425/.441 through his first 10 games this season.

Joe Ross fired 7 2/3 scoreless innings in a 9-1 win over the Phillies on Friday night.

The Nationals are now off to their best start in franchise history at 8-1. Ross was brilliant, allowing just three hits while walking two and striking out five. He has now allowed just one run in 14 2/3 innings to begin the year. The 22-year-old right-hander was very impressive as a rookie and possesses breakout potential this season.

Ryan Braun blasted a pair of long balls and plated four runs on Friday, powering the Brewers to an 8-4 victory over the Pirates in Pittsburgh.

Braun broke the game open with a towering two-run homer to center field off Rob Scahill in the sixth inning. He then replicated the feat with another no-doubter in the eighth inning off Neftali Feliz. He's off to another fantastic start this season, slashing .297/.350/.568 with three homers and seven RBI, though he has yet to steal a base.
