HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL and Welcome to 2021. We kickoff the New Year with a doozy of a Bowl Game where my system is picking Georgia to win this game BIG! So much talk about Cincinnati coming into this game feeling disrespected and feeling like they need to prove themselves but that's been happening ever since the CFP Standings came out the first week of release and nothing has changed. The Bearcats were losing spots when they weren't playing and they weren't happy about it and what did they do in AAC Conference Championship Game? They beat Tulsa, who we all saw yesterday look pretty awful, by a score of 27-24. Considering this game is being played in Atlanta and basically in the Bulldogs backyard where they've played many times before, I'd say they'll be ready for this game. Let's talk about more crazy line movement. Does this not remind you a bit of Florida-Oklahoma where Vegas seems to need more money on one side because they know what's coming? Georgia actually lost more players in the last few days so the line movement is definitely suspect and I've included it in my Suggested Line generation. Georgia never got over their blowout loss to Alabama and it showed in their lack of interest against Florida too but something clicked after the Mississippi State game and the Bulldogs looked great in their final two games of the season which happen to coincide with the return of QB JT Daniels. Trust Kirby Smart. Georgia comes into this game 6-1 ATS in their last seven Bowl Games and they are 9-2 ATS in their last 11 games played on a Neutral Field as a Favorite. They are 9-3 ATS in their last 12 games played overall on a Neutral Field and 4-1 ATS in their last five Bowl Games as a Favorite. Cincinnati is usually a great underdog bet but they are only 1-4 ATS in their last five Bowl Games and 0-5 ATS in their last five games played on Natural Grass. In the AAC Championship Game Cincinnati held Tulsa QB Zack Smith to 166 passing yards and are 0-4 ATS in their last four games after allowing an opposing QB to throw for less than 170 passing yards in their previous game. Cincinnati already had their chance to prove themselves, it didn't work and Georgia will eat them alive with their #1 ranked run defense neutralizing QB Desmond Ridder's ability to make plays with his feet. The Bearcats defense lives off forcing turnovers but Georgia have turned it over only 3 times all season. Bulldogs huge win!
Trend of the Game: Georgia is 9-2 ATS in their last 11 games played on a Neutral Field as a Favorite.
Georgia 38, Cincinnati 10
