I'm not saying you're wrong, but you are just an internet poster, and there was a poster on here yesterday trying to act like he knew what he was talking about saying Bitcoin is going down because it went up with the stimulus checks and retail investors are going on vacations now and selling. LMFAO.
I guess you know cars, so maybe point me in the direction of how to research and find out what you know. My buddy that owns the Tesla I rode in says there is a massive team up in the auto industry to destroy the narrative of Tesla and EV's because of the disruption of the industry. A conspiracy, if you will. I really want to buy one, not because of the social status.....the last thing I want is to bring attention to myself as I'm just sitting at a stoplight. I just think the horsepower, the ride, the self-driving, the no maintenance and gas costs....it all adds up to something I want. I have never really wanted a material possession before. Not because I'm a super Christian, just because I'm boring.
Can you link me to where Elon talked about the quality problems? Thanks.
You simply type in Tesla quality and the first thing that pops up is a CNN article with Musk about quality issues. This will then be followed by 10 to 1 articles of the shitty quality of a Tesla versus it being good. Only folks really saying they’re good are folks who are being paid to do so, or websites with Tesla in the name…Consumer Reports only recommends the Model 3, barely, and that ain’t saying much. I DO NOT base my reasoning behind Consumer Reports, JD Power, Forbes, or any rating system, I don’t for any product. The thoughts are my own, based on my own experiences, always will be. The plastic in the interior is terrible, along with the fitment. In the 3 I’ve been in, you could literally stick your finger in the crease where the A pillars line up. I could 3 D print one in my house that would look better and fit better than what they use…
I also don’t find them to be that stylish, the rims on a 3 are cheap and hideous looking. All good, though, people will continue to buy them for the social status, as stated, just like they do BMW, Mercedes, Lexus, etc, when in fact, there are simply way better cars out there for usually way less money, and there will be soon in the electric car World as well…
I prefer the smell of race gas and burnt rubber, so electric vehicles aren’t for me. Top that off with they aren’t any better for the environment like is being stated (worse actually imo), and you just have a recipe for nothing worth going crazy over, imo…
I’m with you on the material possessions, and I’m glad hardly anyone wants to drive the cars I buy (one anyways), because if I did, I would buy the overrated BMW that happens to be built in my hometown and be just like everyone else, no thanks. Lucky for me, they don’t give them a chance, or they’d be like those Srixon golf clubs, and takeover and they strive for upmarket, which they’re doing a mighty fine job at…
