yeah the golfwrx forum are like 30 pages deep with the new Srixon irons , lol . Koepka put them in the bag and he never played Srixon irons, he's playing the ZX7's.

'We both have close to pro level swing, club head, and ball speeds,'

then forget the Ping G425 Max likely haha. CG way too back , the Ping G425 LST would be a better fit--if they have a demo day, try em! Bet it will be damn hard to punt that TaylorMade Sim wood out of your bag!!

I'm not saying you're wrong, but you are just an internet poster, and there was a poster on here yesterday trying to act like he knew what he was talking about saying Bitcoin is going down because it went up with the stimulus checks and retail investors are going on vacations now and selling. LMFAO.

I guess you know cars, so maybe point me in the direction of how to research and find out what you know. My buddy that owns the Tesla I rode in says there is a massive team up in the auto industry to destroy the narrative of Tesla and EV's because of the disruption of the industry. A conspiracy, if you will. I really want to buy one, not because of the social status.....the last thing I want is to bring attention to myself as I'm just sitting at a stoplight. I just think the horsepower, the ride, the self-driving, the no maintenance and gas costs....it all adds up to something I want. I have never really wanted a material possession before. Not because I'm a super Christian, just because I'm boring.

Can you link me to where Elon talked about the quality problems? Thanks.

You simply type in Tesla quality and the first thing that pops up is a CNN article with Musk about quality issues. This will then be followed by 10 to 1 articles of the shitty quality of a Tesla versus it being good. Only folks really saying they’re good are folks who are being paid to do so, or websites with Tesla in the name…Consumer Reports only recommends the Model 3, barely, and that ain’t saying much. I DO NOT base my reasoning behind Consumer Reports, JD Power, Forbes, or any rating system, I don’t for any product. The thoughts are my own, based on my own experiences, always will be. The plastic in the interior is terrible, along with the fitment. In the 3 I’ve been in, you could literally stick your finger in the crease where the A pillars line up. I could 3 D print one in my house that would look better and fit better than what they use…

I also don’t find them to be that stylish, the rims on a 3 are cheap and hideous looking. All good, though, people will continue to buy them for the social status, as stated, just like they do BMW, Mercedes, Lexus, etc, when in fact, there are simply way better cars out there for usually way less money, and there will be soon in the electric car World as well…

I prefer the smell of race gas and burnt rubber, so electric vehicles aren’t for me. Top that off with they aren’t any better for the environment like is being stated (worse actually imo), and you just have a recipe for nothing worth going crazy over, imo…

I’m with you on the material possessions, and I’m glad hardly anyone wants to drive the cars I buy (one anyways), because if I did, I would buy the overrated BMW that happens to be built in my hometown and be just like everyone else, no thanks. Lucky for me, they don’t give them a chance, or they’d be like those Srixon golf clubs, and takeover and they strive for upmarket, which they’re doing a mighty fine job at…

Yea, I wrote Brooks before I bought man and said he should just give me his instead of letting them collect dust when I thought he was done for the season…No response! Haha

The Z7 are ridiculous clubs!!

Yea, we both can smash a ball, not quite Douchebeau level, but he’s not gonna leave us behind. My partner is only 27, though, I’m in my low 40s, so I do intend to relax my swing some in the coming years. I hit the ball a mile high as well, so I swing 130 shafts, he hits 115s, both KBS. I put a 9 iron from 185 about 10 ft from the hole yesterday for birdie, chipped one in for birdie from about 20 yards, and the rest of the day was shit…lol

Golf, it can be so stressful, yet so relaxing, but it always drags you in for more, somehow…

9 iron 185? wtf? that's bryson territory . Just checked the specs , they are stronger lofted--- 3 degrees more than their player's club zx7. This is becoming more comin' place in the industry , my z585's is 39 degrees , also strong lofted not as much as your z4's . its getting crazy really. I had too far seperation (carry yardage) between my z585 PW and my gap wedge (Ping Glide). So i had to have my 50 and 54 stregthened by a degree .

you must have gap issues with your wedges, no?

for a long long time a couldnt find a reliable 3 wood/4 wood. Need a 245 ish club. Im not a good driver of the ball, not accurate worst part of my game by far. Got the taylor made SIM2 4-wood (16.5 degrees)--holy shit, game chnager for me. Have the Ventus blus stiff shaft, very stable shaft. The club face is hot, the 3 wood would likely go too far as compared to my driver , so really really graeftul for TM making the 4 wood --last years model, the SIM, did not provide a 4 wood option. They must have had quite a bit of requests for it as again the face it so damn hot on the SIM and SIM2 .Only issue is a hit it a little too high, the SIM has a more forward CG, likely wuold have negated that issue if last yr's model had it. Oh well, not complaining--great club!!

as an example of what the golf industry has been doing;

iron set from a decade ago,

Titliest AP2 710 -model yr 2010

9iron loft - 43degrees

my Srixon z585's -model yr 2019

9 iron left - 39 degrees

no shit im hitting my 9 iron longer , to say nothing of the golf ball advancements.

for the pros they will need more courses like Kiawah Island Golf resort (just under 8000 yds), gotta!! . DJ said he actually had to use all the clubs in the bag, lol. some of the older courses cannot host a men's major. Olympic (whihc hosted the Women's US open)? not a fuckin chance

with your clubhead speed, you defintely cuold fit in the zx7 (Brooks club) .

I play a mixture of the new Srixon Z4-7 (custom fitted). These clubs are so hot, they smash the ball (Srixon Z Star) like crazy. I now use their golf gloves too, they’re cheaper and better also imo…I do play TM SIM Woods, though, with extra stiff shafts. Up next is 3 new wedges, most likely Cleveland (owns Srixon now) to complete the package. I have a Z585 3 wood, but I can’t hit it consistently, but it does have the wrong shaft in it for me, so not entirely the clubs fault.

I love Mizuno as well. The 921s I can really hit well too, actually loved them, but the Srixon just feel a little better to me now, and they’re a tad more forgiving and 1-2 clubs longer for me. They’re by far still great clubs though, and I would still chose them over anything American, although my playing partner plays TM 770s and can hit them a mile. They’re good too. We both have close to pro level swing, club head, and ball speeds, though…

I agree with the Ping, I’ve been tempted to give that club a go. Haven’t liked Ping since the Black Eye 2 days before now, though…

Srixon will take over the game of golf if folks will give them a chance. My fitter isn’t partial nor does he try to sell one or a certain brand, and everyone he says since March when they came out that didn’t have to have a certain make of club have bought the Srixons. Luckily I bought mine before Hideki won with them so I wasn’t “that guy”. Lol

Just had an iron fitting today. Fully intended to buy Callaway Mavriks now that the price has dropped. Ended up walking out with Srixons. Smashed them over and over again on the simulator. Excited to get out to real turf with them.

awesome set of irons, congrats. They look very nice at address. Strong lofted, gotta be longer with these than your previous set? the PW is 43 degrees, lol. You get the GW? if not, dont think PW , SW, LW is a good idea. Too much carry differnace between the PW and SW, gotta be! A GW likely will need to be bent to 49 degrees . Maybe : PW (43 degrees) , GW (49 degrees ) SW 54 (LW 58/60 if going 4 wedges) ??

Yeah lofts are strong but I can still launch them higher than my previous set of Big Berthas. Definitely longer with these, basically a full club longer (my old 7 distance is now an 8, etc).

I did get the GW, so I have the zx4 PW (43) and gap (49), then have a Callaway sure out 2 SW (54), and a Cleveland cbx2 LW (60).

Big delta from PW to GW...I could add a 46 degree cbx2 cause I really like the 60 I have, but 5 wedges seems like overkill. We'll see if I can master a 3 finger PW to fill the void :)

Side note the sure out 2 is an awesome club; vastly improved my sand game and is also perfect for me full from 85 yards out on the fairway.

got new wedges... equipment junkie, lol. Got the Cleveland rtx Zipcore (satin finish); 50/54/58 full face. I saw the cbx2, they look nice. Not for me tho, my swing is a bit shallow, need and prefer a thinner sole, less bounce. The Zips are just sweet! gotta dial in carry distances .

punting the Ping G400 Max out of the bag- got a driver fitting at TXG in early Aug. They are crazy busy, that was the earliest opening wtf . Golf has gone nutsy everywhere or just my neck of the woods? prices/tee times ...
