As far as this issue goes, I think it's absurd that a photographer can be sued for declining to photograph a lesbian wedding. I believe a pizza joint should be able to decline the opportunity to cater a gay/lesbian wedding without repercussion. I don't believe that pizza joint should be able to decline service to homosexuals because of their sexuality. If that makes me homophobic, so be it.
