I was just talking about her the other day with a friend. I loved Bridesmaids as it was pretty much a funnier version of the original Hangover. The problem with her is that she is to the point of being typecast into these roles. A good example would be Michael Cera who seems to play almost the same role in every movie.
She seems capable of more as an actress but I don't see a big time company letting her showcase that. One thing Hollywood is great at is beating a dead horse until it can't anymore.
Totally agree and there's really nothing wrong w/ it. There are several actors that have been typecast:
Jason Bateman. He plays the same dude in every movie he's in.
Zach Galafanakis. Same dude in every movie.
Chris Farley & Rodney Dangerfield (when they were alive).
I love this outtake, it's amazing that she didn't break character through that whole scene. In the movie they use a clip from this and you can see Paul and Leslie trying to keep it together.
