hollywood loves to overdo a good thing...as a bit piece to an ensemble she can get you the odd laugh but shes not a lead. What is she to do, if you knew you were shit at something and they paid you gobs of money to do it anyway wouldn't you take it? There was a scene in this is 40 which as a movie wasn't good but she may have been the highlight in her 40 seconds of work. Keep it to that and i'm good, I don't need to see her getting her eat pray love on, don't need to see her falling over herself for an hour and a half. 20 secs of schtick, gtfo.
I was just talking about her the other day with a friend. I loved Bridesmaids as it was pretty much a funnier version of the original Hangover. The problem with her is that she is to the point of being typecast into these roles. A good example would be Michael Cera who seems to play almost the same role in every movie.
She seems capable of more as an actress but I don't see a big time company letting her showcase that. One thing Hollywood is great at is beating a dead horse until it can't anymore.

I'm calling the top. I think its all downhill from here...at some point she can always appear on biggest loser for another 15 mins of fame. She just had a tiff with people magazine or something over them calling her the best plus sized actress or something...she got all upset blah blah blah
big fat people in the acting industry can be counted on one hand...maybe she is part of that group but typically its made up of thespian types....
