You mean JoePa, the head football coach and highest paid public employee in the State of PA, had nothing to do with this? You know Sandusky had an office near JoePas, emeritus status and unfettered access to PSU football facilities right up until he was charged right? You know McQueary was promoted by JoePa right?

So McQueary tells JoePa in 2001 he saw his former DC fondling a boy in the football building in 2001. Now fast forward to 2010, JoePa is still the coach, McQueary has been promoted by JoePa and Sandusky is still walking around using the PSU football facilities. You don't think JoePa, at a bare minimum, could have told Sandusky or his superiors I never want to see that asshole in or around our football facilities again? No, it was poor old JoePa, the guy never had any real power to do anything right?

I had this argument with Enfeugo at the time this happened. Everyone there is innocent except Sandusky, he went rogue.....

Most importantly, I think it's just a lazy way to punish. Someone stole the teacher's glasses. Rather than find out who was involved, all the kids in the whole school get detention. Also, the next two years of kids get detention. And no one gets to play outside. How about you find who stole the glasses and anyone else who knew about it and punish them?

Me too....you don't think as an employer your responsible for your employee's actions??? LOL

of course to some extent you are. what's that have to do with correlating victims and current players? what does this above statement have anything to do with what you said before? these current players aren't employees nor were they involved in fondling children. if you're going to analogize, at least make it relevant and somewhat intelligent.

Of course Joe Pa had something to do with the situation. Joe Pa is told by McQueary he saw something in the shower. That next day, Joe Pa reports what he was told to the athletic director expecting an investigation would be started or something would happen. That something, didn't happen. So who's fault was it? Well, it was McQueary, Paterno's, athletic director and president's fault for not doing anything. It was the AD and president's fault first and foremost for not doing anything at all but Paterno's and McQueary's fault for not following up on their report.

The one thing I hate more than anything on the RX is when posters either make shit up, just lie or misquote you. I've never ever said Sandusky was the only innocent one. I do assert though I believe McQueary and Paterno in no way covered up anything. If anyone at all is responsible, it is the AD and President. That was my assertion since day one.

Sure, in this fucking sue happy country it is. So if my employee flips out and kills you, I'm screwed. Nice.
What a terrible comparison. But you seem to forget where some of the molestations took place. Right under their noses. You can be pissed about the school taking some of the blame for this. But they should because of the people who work there and the very disturbing things that went on at the school.

Again, you want to cry a river for the current coaches and students when in fact they will be fine. All of those sanctions will be forgotten about. Penn st will be fine. The healing process for the victims is a little longer.

I dont have anything against Penn st the institution. Just what happened there. It could have been stopped much earlier IMO.

With all due respect, using this argument, whenever there are recruiting violations, there should never be any sanctions? Maybe there should never be any sanctions unless every coach and every player are involved in something nefarious?

That is a different argument all together.

If all involved were punished, I'd be happy as Hell. They weren't. People stayed quiet. That's pissed me off more than anything. The NCAA had its hands tied, I'm guessing, on those that couldn't be prosecuted. I guess not coming forward isn't against the law. So the NCAA did the next best thing to make the public happy. Yea, I crying bull. Let's fuck up people's lives to make the public happy? Just to clarify, I could give a rats ass about Penn State.
