Knowing your beliefs, I suspect the part about "beat(ing) them" is probably something that you would choose to have worded differently if done over again. I suspect what you really mean by it is that you want to try and make the Rx as good and as functional a site as possible.

On a business level, I know there will always be some level of competition / rivalry between the sites, but as you know, the bulk of what is the Rx community is composed of the players.

There are already a lot of cross-posters (hopefully not too many cross-dressers

), and new posters should not be taught that the two sites are mutually exclusive. As you know, there is a lot of good info at both sites, as well as a number of other betting sites.

Thanks Halifax, exactly. Hardy - good catch sir let me explain. I am a very competitive person and I don't take positions lightly. By working here I will try and make us clearly the best site we can be. Why else take this position if that's not my goal? I respect those guys and won't be badmouthing anyone I respect hoping to pick up a poster or two that way. I don't believe in that. Even if it worked (which I don't think it does) it isn't going to be our way of doing things. I have found by concentrating on what we can do and expending positive energy towards it you come out much further ahead than trying to run others down. You don't make anyone other than yourself look ignorant when you waste all your time throwing dirt at others. I see what you mean now, by saying we will look to beat them it could be taken the wrong way, probably meant to say we will look to be the best we can be. The rest will happen on it's own. BTW my seat is not open, I will be there Thursday as always. Just hope Freddy can make it.
