old man style ?? can you post a photo of what you got ?
Because I didn't see many " Old Man Style " from what I looked at ... or what I ordered

Well when aviators are your more cutting edge frame you're late to the party, as of a couple years ago last I looked at the brand they were just starting to add those and they were ugly, in fairness the newer aviators aren't bad but I hadn't seen them till I looked just now. Jims are not a style frame they're a sporting brand frame and as such they're behind even say an oakley in styling, they're based around protection and in that they excel. Both brands (mj oakley) tend to be bulky and suit the outdoorsy athletic type and I just like a cleaner smaller frame. The ones I have are on the site, hidden pinnacle under the rectangular section, the darker tortoise, they're fine just bulky for my tastes and nothing i'd wear when I put on anything other than a pair of shorts and a t, just too casual. I can post up a pic for ya tmw if ya want I got them in the other car so I'll grab em when I head home but I didn't choose them that's just what my cousin got so he gave me since he had his own pairs, I wear my persols for my daily use, more my style. I wear the persol mcqueens day to day... The wraps and rimless line from mj I wouldn't go near if paid, ugly and for senior citizens.

Maui Jim's and Oakley wraps are made for and suit the looks of senior citizens?! Old Man Style, haha, Got my laugh for the day. These are far the most popular glasses out there for the younger gen., and by the looks, it's easy to see why...

That was my thought as well. That's why I'm trying to figure out what he's talking about.

If I had the paperwork with me, I would post a stock photo of the ones I ordered. But I'm sure they are not "Senior Citizen" Sunglasses. lol

They should go good with your pony tail and earring.

Dont know what the 60$ fee is for murph. Maybe it is for the lenses. Thing is they back their product. They make some cool wraps that are very light and also some more heavy duty sports type frames. I have both. Your eyes are pretty valuable imo so whats a few more bucks to protect them? Never had a pair of shades that made stuff so clear and defined. I think you made a great choice!

read what I said before mocking it...

MJs are amongst the most popular glasses out there for the younger generation...wow, you need to look into that cause you're way wrong lol. MJs are a niche market, they're expanding but they are well well behind the major players in the sunglasses market, and they were created for hawaiians who faced extreme sunshine thus needed special lenses to cope, and they built their base by going thru the performance water markets, boaters mainly, how many young boaters do you know? Mjs demographic is the affluent 50+ crowd. Young kids are not paying 300+ for great lenses most don't care they'll spend that on a name brand that gets them noticed which mj does not or they'll save the money and get a cheap pair of raybans which stink but look good.

I never said oakley wasn't popular or that it was an old mans frame, I said mjs were an older mans frame, I said Mjs are behind oakley in styling and oakleys themselves are bulky and despite sales are not a style frame. Ask yourself how many celebs are wearing oakleys off the beach or sports field? I know we aren't supposed to care what celebs wear but their stylists for the most part keep them current and if what you're wearing doesn't look similar to what they're wearing outside extremes, you're not current and it's pretty clear what style makers think of oakleys and mjs, keep them to the beach... they have a market and they own it, the athlete and they make trendy athletic frames but even these athletes put them away when they leave work...My point was these frames are good for what they are but for me they're not stylish enough outside of sports and Mjs style tendencies are geared towards their buyers, which are older and the ones I pointed out were especially older inspired. Not all their styles are old and if you're happy with them and think you look good in them that's all that matters and in the end you're getting quality cause that's one thing you don't have to doubt with mjs.

I was always a $40 a pair type guy but tried Maui Jim's about 5 years ago and will never own anything else. Very light and the lenses are crystal clear, just love them. I broke a pair about 3 years ago (didn't realize they were lifetime guarantee, I thought I read that earlier) but bought a replacement pair.

Love em, worth every penny imo
