bushay - i respect your opinions but honestly if you think price is the guy for the Habs i have to disagree. he was a disaster last year in the playoffs and i think that was montreal's best shot at making a run because these other teams are getting older and better.

look at boston getting better. philly getting better. caps getting better. because all their young talent is seasoned.

meanwhile the habs are playing with kovalev and tanguay who arent old but they arent spring chickens either.

montreal wont make it past the first round of the playoffs.

and i dont care what anyone tells me, if i was looking to win the cup this year, im going to a team in the east. no shot im taking my chances of having to play both san jose and detriot on the road no less in a 7 game series.

and i dont wanna hear the pens arent overrated because they have two guys out. the flyers have played the entire season basically with no briere and no randy jones who was a key to their defense last year and id say they are what one of the hottest teams in hockey right now?

good teams find ways to win. pens won be back in the conference finals again book it.

Am I the only one who thinks this is the most biased Flyers fan post or what? You are truly naive if you think the Pens and Habs have no chance. Price was playing in his rookie playoffs. You cant judge his first crack at it with what may happen now that he has a year of playoff experience under his belt. I am a fan of neither and personally think your Flyers run last ear was a total fluke due to Biron randomly becoming a wall.

I just said I felt Price was better than either of the Philly goalies. Thats all. And he took them to the conference finals last season didn't he? You dont think once the playoffs roll around those crazies up in Montreal wont have that team fired up? Especially THIS season with the 100 year anniversary?
I do.

Until Boston beat Montreal in the playoffs i'm not sold. They take them out...color me impressed and on the bandwagon. They have a very deep team. Like the Wings. I'm sorry but Philly just doesn't do anything for me. I think their jinxed personally. Bobby Clarke screwed that franchise. And Lindros is just as guilty. Sorry. I know you don't like to hear that about your hometown guys. I like the Caps but both these teams goaltending is their Achilles heel.

Kovalev and Tanguay. As old as you may think they are, both have stanley cup rings. That goes a longs ways come playoff time when the pressure is tenfold.

I've always been a big believer in, if you want to BE the best you have to BEAT the best. But i understand what your saying.

Peace.
