I can't help but notice how you conveniently left off my explanation to what I meant by 'fall from grace.'

Maybe Nike will stand by him after all. I just thought they wouldn't want the embarrassment, but I guess they can use the "Tiger is contrite, he apologized for his actions" line.

As for those of you who are congratulating him, you do realize he has kids, right? Cheating on their mom might not set the best example, ya know? I know the concept of instilling values and being a role model to your children is kind of outdated these days, but I don't see him winning any Father of the Year awards. But hey, that's alright, he's having fun!

No need to man up and be responsible when you have a wife and kids, it's all about being a selfish prick and thinking only of yourself, right? Maybe if he's a real good dad he'll show his kids that you need to smack your bitch around if she gets out of the line, too? Nah, I shouldn't get greedy now...

Not a DUI, not spousal abuse, didn't injure anyone.

HE banged a few hot pieces of ass on the side. Big fukin deal. While it is not the right thing do be doing, its a lot more common than you might want to believe with these celebs. Right or wrong, its almost part of the territory...

And what the hell does your last paragraph have to do with anything?

Trust me, I know it happens all the time. I'm not surprised that this came out. Then again, I'm continually amazed at celebrities who get married, then do stuff like this. They have to know it's going to come out in the public if they get caught. Not saying it SHOULD come out, but it does because they are celebrities. It goes with the territory.

The last paragraph was sarcasm. Some people seemed to be saying 'good for him' for cheating on his wife and doing whatever he wanted. My point was that if they think that is a good example to set for his kids, then maybe he should slap his wife around too. Again, obvious sarcasm. NOBODY should cheat on their wife, or abuse them in any way.

no way tiger paid her. he's a cheap bastard.
Actually he most likely did pay off the oldest pig out of the bunch...at 33 given a million to keep her mouth shut would have been a good deal until the other pigs came crawling out looking for meal-tickets...he thought he could protect his 100 million dollar endorsement deals but alas he is faaked anyways...boo-hoo...

Nike Says It Stands By Tiger Woods

By Andria Cheng

MarketWatch Pulse

NEW YORK -- Athletic-shoe giant Nike Inc. , which counts golf star Tiger Woods among its top product endorsers, said Wednesday it stands by the world-class golfer. "Nike supports Tiger and his family," the Beaverton, Ore.-based company said in an emailed statement. "Our relationship remains unchanged." Woods said Wednesday that he's let his family down and regrets "transgressions" amid speculation about the cause of a one-car accident Woods was involved in last week.
Of course they would fools...THEY ALREADY PAID HIM...now they have to worry about fan BACKLASH for being a lieing ,cheating bastard...I feel sorry for NIKE's financial troubles as they pay 3rd world human beings to make their garbage products at thirty cents a hour...screw them too...

Sponsors still standing by Tiger

Endorsers of the golfing great reiterate their support for Tiger Woods after his admissions of 'transgressions' on Wednesday.

NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- Nike, Gatorade, Gillette and other sponsors said on Wednesday that they will continue their relationships with Tiger Woods, despite new reports of Woods' alleged affair and the golfer's admissions of "personal sins" and "transgressions."

"Nike (NKE, Fortune 500) supports Tiger and his family," the company said in a statement. "Our relationship remains unchanged."

"Tiger and his family have our support as they work through this private matter," a Gatorade spokeswoman said. "Our partnership continues."

Gillette reiterated that it has not changed its marketing strategy because of the news, but the company wouldn't comment on any future plans.

EA Sports (ERTS) also said it would continue its sponsorship of Woods: "Our strong relationship with Tiger for more than a decade remains unchanged. We respect Tiger's privacy, we wish him a fast recovery and we look forward to seeing him back on the golf course."

Calls to other major sponsors of the golfing great, including Accenture (ACN) and Tag Heuer, were not immediately returned. AT&T (T, Fortune 500) declined to comment for the story.

On Wednesday, Us Weekly reported Woods has been having an affair with a Los Angeles cocktail waitress for two years.

The continuing revelations of alleged Tiger Woods infidelities has placed the golfing megastar's management team in what one insider called "panic mode" early Wednesday morning.

Despite the release of photographs of Woods looking a bit too friendly with a woman in a Las Vegas nightclub, and a recording — allegedly of a phone call Woods made to former "Tool Academy" reality show alum Jaimee Grubbs — the Woods source insists "Tiger still believes stonewalling the press on this is the best approach."

Woods did, however, issue a statement Wednesday morning on his Web site, saying “I haven't been true to my values” and “I have let my family down and I regret those transgressions with all of my heart," he said.

• Also, don't look for Woods' wife, Elin, to be moving out of the couple's Windermere, FL., mansion anytime soon. The links legend's spouse is reportedly being paid a hefty seven-figure amount — immediately transfered into an account she alone controls — to stick with her husband.

On top of that, my source indicated Elin Nordegren Woods, the mother of Tiger's two children, has demanded — and is getting — a total rewrite on the couple's prenuptial agreement making the incentives for her to remain Mrs. Tiger Woods even more enticing.

At this point, the couple needed to remain married for 10 years in order for Woods' wife to collect a splitsville settlement of $20 million. I'm being told that time frame has been shortened — and the dollar amount increased "substantially."

• Perhaps most important of all, the Woodses have already begun intense marriage counseling — at their home — with a counselor who has been conducting sessions several times daily.

That's what the sponsors are saying today, but it's always the guy who hugs you that ends up sticking a knife in your back.

If you are a sports celebrity making big dollars or a hugely wealthy person the laws of marriage naturally relax.
You should try to marry an understanding spouse if your a larger then life living sports, business or music celbrity.

At that level of success cheating is almost 100%.

I wonder what would happen if we could get a list of all these sponsors who are having affairs. No pot should call the kettle black.
