No, you not being a dick, that's a fair question. She has kids from a previous marriage and I raised them. I like to drink but she is the type that when we went out drinking wanted to stay to close as she couldn't stop. She got tired of my gambling and I am sure at times I neglected her and her needs when I was gambling or playing softball or basketball. It never bothered me when she would go out with her friends. I probably should have noticed the changes over time with her actions but to be honest if I cared that much at the time I probably would of. I wish her no will ill. I am the type that loves my job, realizes life is short and I feel if I just wake up and live my life honest and to the fullest good things will come.

Just kidding, same thing happen to me, 15 years I felt like a failure but hey I moved on. I took to sampling the many fine offerings of the women around me. I never thought I would say it but I found me a better one. She loves me and takes care of me. I was totally up front about my gambling and we gamble together for big games. Actually I gamble she spends the winnings, it works out. You'll move on. One thing that came out of it I became much closer to my kid. You will to. Good Luck! I never thought a bunch of degenerate gamblers could make me feel better but indeed you all have and thanks. I have no choice but to move on and I will. To be honest with you I realize now we were together for all the wrong reasons. Nice house in the burbs, nice cars, big screen TV's. We were closer when we first got married and had to struggle just to pay our bills. Our son is going to college locally in the fall so he will be around to keep me company.
PS I think I'm just going to take the high road and give her the $700 Christmas tree she bought. Of course I'll be keeping the 58" plasma that I told her only cost 1k.
