Since it was coming from you Mob, I'm pretty sure you were being sarcastic...

But, it could possibly be the best idea. It would almost be like vaccinating them. If history (short history) is any indication. If they infected all the players, who are mostly healthy under 50 years old . Say 50 players total.

Probably around 40 asymptomatic.

Probably around 5 players with some annoying symptoms. Like cold like symptoms.

Probably about 5 players have sever symptoms. Like having a bad case of the flu. Where you can barely get out of bed for a week, then feel sluggish a couple weeks after.

Probably 0 fatalities.

Probably 0 hospitalizations.

Then they will all be immune , for at least this season most likely.

Unless I'm mistaken out of the thousands of athletes who have gotten covid, none have died and none have been ventilated. The worst is Freddie Freeman and a couple others who basically had symptoms that equaled a bad case of the flu.

Problem is the players didn’t agree to that and agreeing to it would require a ton more money because no one knows the long term effects. And like pats said not all athletes are fit to handle it.

Not just that but what about the best refs? What about old coaches? What about people who have diabetes, asthma, kidney problems?

Now we’re talking about lawsuits and death suits. Stuff the league is not willing to get involved in.

The surgeon/nfl player already opted out.

They’re going to play but NFL seems like the toughest sport to play with COVID very present. This shouldn’t even be an issue but because Trump is incompetent it is for us.

Don't get me wrong. It will never happen for the reasons you said. As far as players with other conditions. I don't know if they just don't have that many. But it seems of all the players who have had Covid they have all recovered and I haven't heard of any with even a thought of it being career ending, or career effecting even. Unless I've missed a story there haven't been any ill effect from Covid on these athletes past say a month. Lord knows the media would be all over it like flies on shit if there was a story.

If this is Trump's fault, why have the states with liberal governors done worse than the states with republican governors?

Logic meets liberals and then they tuck their tail between their legs and run off.

This is like the black woman mayor of New Orleans blaming Trump for the fact that SHE didn't cancel Mardi Gras.

Canceling an event in a city is something the MAYOR is responsible for, not the President.

If every single player got coronavirus instantly, there would probably be less MLB coronavirus deaths than the average number of Dominican baseball players to crash their car and die per year.

Let that sink in.

And?
Their per capita death rate is more than 4x lower than New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts. Less than half than that of states like Illinois and Michigan. And well below the national average, even with a huge population of elderly.

Florida population: 21.48 million
Coronavirus deaths: 5,930

New York population: 19.45 million
Coronavirus deaths: 32,322

By the way, the median age in Florida is 42.2 years old, while the median age in New York is 38.2, so Florida actually has a more vulnerable population by a pretty significant degree statistically.

Understand now, or need more of a lesson, son?

Are you this brain washed? Florida is handling this reasonably well compared to the rest of the country. Even more so when you consider how many latinos from hard hit countries streamed in to Florida during this.

If you weight 340 you might have a problem - still doubtful cuz they're in the their 20's and the have to come out a brutal training camp - pretty sure diabetics are the only small risk category

handling this pretty well?

schools aren’t opening next month
summer camps are closed
some fall sports are being cancelled
no telling when high school sports are gonna start
cant have more than 10 people in a house
can’t order takeout after 8pm as restaurants are closing at 9

yeah, Florida is in great shape at the moment!!

Moving the goal posts like a true pro.

not at all

everyday deaths are down in New York (yes it was ugly in March/April)

daily deaths are rising in FL. Scary.

Florida is now number 2 in positive cases. Yet I’ll be first to admit that those numbers are inflated

What would you be doing differently right now?

And they won't come anywhere near New York's death total.

Are you retarded? Fair question I think based on your posts.
