What baseball should have done since there are no fans in the stands anyway is play all the games at the spring training facilities in Florida and Arizona .

Half the league plays in Florida and the other half in Arizona .
No traveling

Made too much sense. Only problem is that Florida is pretty spread out. I hear Arizona has 7 stadiums within 30 min of each other or something like that

If they cancel the MLB season I will be patrolling the streets of Chicago bashing rioters with a baseball bat to replace the national past time.

USL Championship soccer has been back, with fans, for over 2 weeks and with few issues at all. Pittsburgh already played at Louisville, at Philly, home vs Indy Eleven, and at Red Bulls 2 and ZERO cases to team or staff in a league with 34 of 35 teams already back, most having made multiple trips. USL League One's Fort Lauderdale team played home vs Tucson and home vs Greenville and, again, zero issues

MLB is back 3 days with no team making multiple trips and the Marlins post 10 cases? color me skeptical

All it has to be is that their procedures are different. Right? That’s literally all it takes. Why are you confused? Is this another conspiracy?

Go to work you pussies. If there are compromised players or coaches make them sit out the season. Let everyone else go about their business. Done.

If they have enough players to suit up a team (and at least 3 reserve players) of any position, they should have to play the game. But that's a pipe dream in this day and age.

Yeah, widely confirmed down here that 13 players have the dreaded Covid and they have all the symptoms so they're feel absolutely fine and would have no idea had not someone told them they were deathly sick - a disease so deadly the majority never knew they had it

Would anyone put it past liberals planting fake positives to shut down sports leagues and make Americans more depressed so more rioting ensues?

Why can’t they just play guys? If it’s not a big deal why not just infect all the players and all the refs and just play?

The whole bubble is an infection bubble. Does that seem logical to you guys? How about it? Sounds nice

The lights at those stadia are not bright enough for television.

All teams have a taxi squad of 20+ players ready to go and play.

Exactly. Make sure you get the COVID positive guys out, get the taxi team in, and move forward. Same as injuries.

The Marlins will struggle for a few days during the taxi team. But that's OK, cause they suck anyway.

Yeah knew there was a taxi squad, but didn't know how many players. If these players have tested negative, I don't see the reason for no game. Teams lose stars all the time to injury.

Since it was coming from you Mob, I'm pretty sure you were being sarcastic...

But, it could possibly be the best idea. It would almost be like vaccinating them. If history (short history) is any indication. If they infected all the players, who are mostly healthy under 50 years old . Say 50 players total.

Probably around 40 asymptomatic.

Probably around 5 players with some annoying symptoms. Like cold like symptoms.

Probably about 5 players have sever symptoms. Like having a bad case of the flu. Where you can barely get out of bed for a week, then feel sluggish a couple weeks after.

Probably 0 fatalities.

Probably 0 hospitalizations.

Then they will all be immune , for at least this season most likely.

Unless I'm mistaken out of the thousands of athletes who have gotten covid, none have died and none have been ventilated. The worst is Freddie Freeman and a couple others who basically had symptoms that equaled a bad case of the flu.
