The way Bama beat my Trojans early season was beyond impressive. They mopped the floor with them. They took USC behind the woodshed and whooped our ass.
While my Trojans have improved they would not beat Bama, Clemson, OSU.

Alabama would beat anyone by 3 TDs .

Usually I would agree, but in Penn State's situation, it is different. They just climbed out of the abyss... not like a team that has been up there for years.
However, match ups, etc, I still think USC will pound them by 24 or so.

USC OT SR Zach Banner was on Petros and Money show today talking about how important it is to the team and school to go out on a winning note and bring back some hardware for Heritage Hall. SC will be tough.
With that said I still expect a great close game.

Good bump, I didn't see this one the first time around. USC appears to be back but so is PSU, a year ahead of schedule. Should be a good game, I'm looking forward to southern California in January.

Great thread! I like the way 3Peet let everyone have their opinion and didn't get into bashing. I don't get why people think a team will have a let down because they didn't get into the playoff. Hell, Penn St didn't even think they were good until they came from behind to beat my Golden Gophers and then went on a run. I think the world thought Minnesota would get killed yesterday after the turmoil and loss of players, but instead they rallied around their coach and a game plan that was executed to a tee.

I wish I had inside information like the press seems to get.

It should be a good game.
