Hard not to root for Greenstein at this point, what a tremendous guy.

Dissappointing Negreanu (sp), the Mouth, and Kaplan were knocked out before the final table, would have been more entertaining. Deeb can be quite the character, however.

Kind of OT, but if you think you are really "that good", you can see where you stand at the nightly $1080 NL at the Bellagio. Screw the WSOP & it's mayhem.

Good people in these Bellagio games. I was a calling station with the nut flush after the flop and finally got pushed all in. I was later told that the guy that I wiped out was unbeatable if he got the lead(and that was from the local regulars-and there are a LOT of them). To this day I have no idea who he was. Within the next 2 hours, I got cocky & slapped to the curb.

Screw the WSOP....the Bellagio room is the place to roll.

I know what you're saying.....but I'm talking about trying to find out what level you can compete at. Granted-anyone can win anything on any given day, but if you play a lot-you need to have a feel as to where you rank.

For example, at Stars there seems to be a BIG difference between the 50 & 100 tourney players vs 200+. I'm talking different world kind of difference. The 200+ guys slap me around like a red headed stepchild(and I'm not playing scared).

Live, anyone & anyone will enter a 100-500 tourney in Vegas.

This might qualify as a bad beat..... Fitoussi had a 5-1 chip lead with just three players left.

Freddy Deeb is the winner and his odds were 60-1 in the original post. No one guessed him correctly and those that had the field just missed out.

Freddy's great. Still, I'll take Daniel over him any day just because I was lucky once to catch on TV how he was reading Freddy as an open book and his incredible bluff when they were playing heads-up. Much later on, I watched another poker feature on ESPN where Howard acknowledged that that was the greatest bluff of all time. Considreing Annie-Daniel situation, that says a lot.

Yeah well just because he won this year doesn't mean he's better than Daniel, lot of people would still take him over Freddy, anyone can get hot during one of these things. Even the HORSE event. Not taking anything away from Deeb but IMO he's not one of the top 10 players in this field.

Data you mention a Daniel-Annie "situation", are they fueding or something? I've heard a lot of people knocking Annie that used to play out there. Can't say I know for sure but many say she's a first class pain in the ass to play against.

Main Event will be coming up in a few days. I may a similar thread planned for that, with a little twist.

I guess they moved on now but back in the days the feud was very public. At some point Daniel brought it up to the whole new level making a post in RPG to what Howard replied saying "I will, from now on, ignore you entire existence". Here is the thread started with Howard's "open letter" that provides with details:
