No. I am a shameless Belichick apologist. He is the best coach ever to coach in the NFL. I will always believe that Brady matured under Belli and Belli was able to maneuver his way through the salary cap and free agency because he had Brady. Between the two of them they gave us twenty years of football excellence that you will never again see duplicated in ANY sport.

Kraft saw in Belli what he needed. Belli who? He hired him. Belli saw in Brady what he needed. Brady who?He made him his starter and kept him there when Bledsoe healed (you must remember the controversy that decision sparked around here. At least half the media and fanbase wanted Bledsoe. Belichick didn't waiver.) Excellence scaled up and down.

Belichick was the most integral piece to the Patriot dynasty.

He remains in my opinion the best in game coach in football. And also the coach who prepares his defense the best for each weekly opposition.

His weakness is offensive game planning. And more importantly he has recently failed miserably in assembling the players necessary to succeed in the 2023 NFL.

Keep him as the coach. Allow him veto power when "selecting the groceries" but give the job to someone else.

I think that he is a reasonable man and must understand how he has come up woefully short in assembling a group of men who can win in today's NFL. It shouldn't be hard for Kraft to convince him of that.

The anti Belichick crowd amuses me my friend. It's like they don't know what he accomplished in the era of free agency. It's like they think Brady was a superstar during the first three super bowl runs, and it wasn't about the running game and defense. Brady was the anti- Mac Jones, he was a great game manager. Brady didn't emerge has a mega start until 2007, ironically the year they lost to the Giants to finish 18-1.

And Brady didn't win their sixth SB either, when they defeated the Rams 13-3

Brady was absolutely the reason they came back from 28-3 against the Falcons, and he was sensational in their loss to the Eagles

I fucking love TB12, but it was Xs and Os that carried them for most of those years

But before Jones went down, 3.2 seconds passed from the time of the snap and the moment he was first hit. In that time, Jones quickly cocked his arm before collapsing on himself. He could have flipped the ball to a scurrying Rhamondre Stevenson over the short middle of the field or Mike Gesicki waiting as a release valve in the right flat; anything but take a sack that would lose the game.

He didn’t.

Mac Jones is worse than Zack Wilson

Make a read, throw the fucking ball you retard

How is asking a question would you move on from BB if he won't accept a GM demotion being "anti-Belichick"?

He said the GM needs to be replaced, I said if he won't accept that then what? He's the one that said the GM needs to be replaced, not me.

Curious to see how you respond to Chop's buyout offer though.

It’s time to move on for the Patriots

BB needs to go somewhere else to catch Shula and not have GM power

BB is 9 losses away from breaking Tom Landry's all time record for most career losses by a head coach.

Doubtful but could that record be broken this year?

The anti-Belichick crowd is more than one person. Although you might be the only man who calls himself "PatsFan" to be in that corner. Reminds somewhat of UCONN fans that hated the bully Jim Calhoun, when they didn't even know what UCONN basketball was until Jim Calhoun came to town (not saying you're that bad)

You've made a series of posts bashing everything about the team, with the possible exception being Mac Jones.

As for Chop's offer, my response couldn't be more clear, how did you miss it?

Hi Scott.

Who needs computers when you've got Scott's memory bank?

Nothing like historical perspective. Hang around.
It's not a memory. It's a notebook. And a stack of papers so high Heath at The Daily Spread once wrote "Scott Landau's office is a fire hazard!" So far I'm hanging on buddy!

Jet fans treated Geno Smith as bad as they treat Zack Wilson.

ok I apologize for be being incredibly generous with an offer on a bet you have exactly a 0% chance of winning

If you think I’m gonna read all your post and try to figure out your non answer that you claim you were 100% clear on that’s fine

You can pay the entire 100% next year

I apologize for trying to give you a break and do something nice

Mich wants him gone if he can't accept a demotion/reduced role and he's a self professed BB apologist. So I think that is a pretty clear sign he has failed miserably recently. I was surprised Mich took that stance, that is why I asked him. It was a shift to me and also why I said why I think the compromise he's looking for seems challenging to me on the surface. I didn't call for him to be fired or demoted or leave the team. Just said he's doing a horrible job lately. Clearly not alone in that thinking.

The team is 1-5, this isn't 2020 rebuild year, 4 years into rebuild that is obviously bad and they're headed for a lost year, they're objectively one of the worst teams in the league....Do you expect the analysis of the coach/GM/team to be positive or something?

Obviously Mac sucks, but he's been dealt a garbage hand as well. BB had 4 years to build a good team and instead he built 1 of the worst in the league. He also drafted and stuck with noodle arm, so that's on him as well.

Doubt anyone in this thread disagreeing with much of that, if that makes someone a "anti-Belichick crowd" then so be it, I guess.

Almost got it right about overrated Brady and clueless New England fans. But I'll correct it for you. Brady was only able to complete the comeback against the Falcons because of spectacular plays from his wide receivers and his defense getting him the ball back. Also, The Falcons later proved that everyone comes back against them. As for The Eagles Superbowl..Brady was so sensational that he fumbled the game away when it was all on the line..He was so sensational that he lost to Foles lol. But I'll give you credit for understanding what most most Pats fans don't understand...that Brady isn't half the QB they think he is. He's great. But not even close to being the GOAT. He's not Peyton, or Brees or Rodgers etc. Putting weak coaches and defenses on his back to win it. Brady had the best system and coach anybody could ever hope for. The early ones..the defenses and kicker won the Superbowls.

I won't revisit this thread. It's sad reading delusional Brady fans defend and hyper the overrated cheater and lowlife lol
