A horse that actually benefited from any perceived infraction in awarded the win

Priceless, leave it to a bunch of fucking idiots

Saez and Max Sec almost got 2 jockeys trampled. 7 has to come down. Agree the 20 benefited.. just a shit scenario

Ok, but one can argue 20 is out of the money without any infraction. The horses that were impeded gain nothing. A horse that couldn't possibly have won under any circumstances was awarded the win.

I'm done with horse racing over this for 2019, I'm not alone.

PS: the decision didn't cost me one penny

It’s more about racing safety than who benefitted. You just look foolish with these opinions

What's the correct decision? That's the problem. There's a clear foul and the 20 didn't deserve it. A no win situation. Shame is it would have been a hell of a finish if saez just stays in his lane

Says the guy whining about the result of a 100% correct call, and felt the need to blame “officials”
They are called stewards

i agree safety was the problem also think that horse if it stayed in its lane still runs strong down the stretch and would have been same result. horrible 20 got the win. just an unfortunate mishap.

Under such deplorable conditions, isn't it just a tad bit harder to stay in your lane?

I lost in the neighborhood of $200 with doubles and Pic3’s with the takedown.

But I do agree with the decision.

Felt sorry for my buddy who had #1 War of Wills pretty big. That horse seemed to take the worst of the foul and was making a big move. But since War of Wills and Max Security had the same owners they wouldn’t want an objection.

Pretty sly move for Prat to call the objection. Country House didn’t have much trouble.

It sucks but that’s the way it goes

absolutely agree. take 20 people running full speed around a corner in mud like that a few are gonna lose traction. just unfortunate.

also think the jockey screwed himself saying the horse spooked when the crowd became loud coming around the corner

Perhaps but he drifted several out. Whether the horse got scared, jockey was playing the drift as he's known to do.. horse has to come down. My wife is still crying.. she had a nice a chunk on the 7. I was hoping he'd stay up so I wouldn't get asked one million questions.

Also it's the most crucial spot in the race to drift. Just sucks all around. My favorite 2 minutes of the year.. until this year

My whole issue is that the steward allowed an objection from a rider that wasn't impeded in any fashion. This race was stolen, plain and simple.
