Agree with some of what you said, but disagree that no one here cares about their rep.

I know I do. Not to an unhealthy extent, but it would bother me if people here thought I was a stiff. Most normal posters want to be seen as "stand up guys". But yes there are pieces of shit here just like in the real world, that would sacrifice that for $200 or even less.

I care about my reputation, I think a lot of people do

So far every other transaction has gone smoothly, so we're talking about an exception here

And $ 200 is nothing I'm losing sleep over, I'm not even pissed at myself, it's more about the principle and the complete lack of communication since last week. $ 2,000 would be a different story
