Same boat here. Wife's been home 8 months with baby and we're treading water financially. Going 10 years w/ 2 incomes and then suddenly down to 1 sucks.

Wish my wife had graphic design or copywriting skills. Those would be perfect to do at home.

Sell tickets on e-bay. The Britney Spears tour is hot right now. Tickets on sale to the general public Saturday morning.

How artistic is she ? She may be able to do some painting and try selling them on Ebay.

Its amazing how much some paintings go for on there, even the crap ones - all you need to do is mark it up as "Modern" or "Comtemporary" and you are sold.

Only problem is the initial cost of the painting supplies to get set up in the first place...

When she takes the kid to the park, have her scrounge in the trash cans for bottles and cans.
