Our government has enough money already, we need to SPEND LESS.

we have socialism at the state level we pay state taxes some states like fl (old rich people) and nevada (gambling) don't need it but they all have sales taxes etc too...
the system was setup to keep the socialism LOCAL that's where it belongs i have no problems with paying state taxes i would much rather pay the state income tax than pay a federal income tax because i'm almost sure the money will be better well spent for the needs of my state
if you give somebody in washington a blank check with vested interests in its pockets that the average joe is too far away from to say anything do you think they are gonna spend our money more inefficiently

yes, although W has made dividends subjected to long-term capital gains rate, they're still taxed twice.
still not enough for many around here who are looking for an increase in corporate tax rates and repeal of W's tax cut on dividends.
Fewer jobs, less working capital and reduce investment incentive doesn't mean too much to too many, something I just can't comprehend.
