they didnt review it because it was incomplete. its a football game. who cares. i dont think anything would've changed if they got another shot anyways.

I thought Pittsburgh's claim to fame was their great defense.
They allowed 407 yards and were outgained by 100+ but still won. It's as if they had some other force that kept stepping up whenever they needed it
:missingte
I am looking for a replay of the 100 yard int return where Hightower (I think it was him) got blocked in the back.
Funny how so many long punt/kick returns get called back when they teams have their specialized return teams on the field yet Pittsburgh's denfensive team executed a 100 yarder flawlessy
you know what i was getting at. it was obvious that he fumbled it.

Agreed. I think it probably took looking at that exact replay (first post) twice for me to conclude that Woodley dislodged the ball well before Warner's hand even started forward. The ball is not even in the palm of Warner's hand during the forward motion, it's on his wrist and out of the grasp of his fingers. I can see why they didn't waste the booth review on it. Upstairs, if they had this exact replay, they should have be able to say there is nothing "conclusive" at all to overturn the call on the field of a fumble. Aside from not having anything "conclusive" to overturn, it looks like the call was correct in the first place.
NFL RULES
Incomplete pass
Article 5 Any forward pass (legal or illegal) becomes incomplete and the ball is dead immediately if the pass strikes the ground or goes out of bounds.
Note: If there is any question by the covering official(s) if a pass is complete, intercepted, or incomplete, it is to be ruled incomplete.
Fumble
Article 4 A Fumble is any act, other than a pass or legal kick, which results in loss of player possession. The term Fumble always implies possession. (8-4-2-Exc. 1).
Loss of Possession was called by the ref, which made it a fumble and not an Incomplete pass.
Woodley clearly dislodged the ball, and if you look closely, the ball was going down Warner's arm and hit his chest, before going forward
:grandmais
There always will be crying after the game by disgruntled fans. Get over it, you lost, and the Cards will go down in the history books as just another team that lost in the Super Bowl.
or not getting ejected for
