I love first time starter MSW favs at 2-1 or under. I figure the stables know how the horse is training and step in accordingly.

This horse fits but I'm a little concerned that her reputation may be bigger than his ability. They paid 1.3 mill for him. People know that and use it to influence their bets. I never do.

So I'm just gonna golight.

Probably should have laid off. Another big priced horse disappoints in his eebut.

SA race 6

$2 Ext

2 5 / 2 3 4 5 6

$16 Total Bet

Comes 2 -5 -3

$1 ext pays 11.10 x 2 = $22.20

The big Baffert favorite just didnt have it

I will give you an angle that I like Horse runs a dirt goes to the turf a Beaten favorite on Turf than going Back to dirt which the 2 horse was

was told by a trainer at Thistledown years ago that the turf toughens them up when going back to dirt and will be tuff to beat builds up endurance

Also right now im off Baffert horses or pass the race just my thought on him right now

I think that the two favorites and the 40-1 longshot will all be gunning out of the gate. That should benefit the closers and I think the #8 is the best of them.

Always look hard at both turf to dirt and dirt to turf horses. There is a reason the trainer is switching surfaces.

Nope. The #7 (favorite) had a lot of company early but separated from them quicker than I was hoping. The #8 came hard down the stretch as I expected but I thought Cedillo got him going too late and he got a ran out of ground, third.

I see a lot of contenders in this race so I'm gonna go with a "value" horse with a good trainer and a good jockey, dropping out of MSW, second time blinkers and adding Lasix for the first time. Laid off since December should make this 3 yo bigger and stronger.

Last bet tonight.
