W has nothing to do with the price of oil except for the fact that he started this little peace action in Iraq that was supposed to pay for itself with Iraqi oil. Funny thing happened along the way, oil prices skyrocketed after the war started and are still soaring. I for one think its just a coincidence all the Mobil-Exxon Enron execs are dancing in the streets telling us we need to open up the volcanoes in Hawaii for more oil exploration and while we are at it lets moan about our lack of refineries. Mark my words W and his minions will be giving out tax breaks for that real soon. I am also pro-life, wheres our next war? Its never too early for that. Anyone can claim everyone is biased if they disagree . I have read the Washington Post, the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal on a daily basis for many years . Even though each is fiercely independent of the other two , i enjoy all three and welcome each edition. I think the main problem in todays world is the intolerance of different opinions and the polarizations of the views that allow little leeway for unamimity of opinion as opposed to just seeing and driving wedges the size of telephone poles through them. I guess the bottom line is a little more softening of opinions and a little more openness in this world would go a long way to getting along better. Thanks, Peace-out.

there is an effort by the elite to keep the population divided and then they conquer..These posters game are played out and at this points it just to ask questions to fit the agenda..or in the case of posters like The Right Wing...to kill or distract the topic....one thing you can be sure of ...they are long on slander and short on substance...pretty much the reason you will never see President Bush in an honest forum to discuss the issues they have lied so much they dont know what reality is.....

President Bush would never be allowed in an honest forum because his handlers know better, and rightly so. Politics has degenerated in my lifetime to a level of diatribes where noone really wants to listen to anybody elses views. I see this as a symptom of Rush Limbaugh and even Morton Downey where entertainment and money drive people with little regard for compassion or even ethics to come into play. Recent research was released confirming the relationship between people with left-wing authoritarian politics and their narcissism and psychopathy. The paper in Current Psychology is titled "Understanding left-wing authoritarianism: Relations to the dark personality traits, altruism, and social justice commitment" by Ann Krispenz and Alex Bertrams
The research found a strong correlation between left authoritarianism and dark triad traits. It did not find greater altruism or commitment to social justice. They conclude that for these people their left-wing views are simply a way for them to express power over others. The Dark Tetrad types are using their "care for the planet and the poor" as a mask to hide their true destructive motivations and, in the case of activist men, to fool naive women into admiring them (and more) for their hypothetical moral goodness.
The correlations reported here are so high (.60) that, given measurement error, the constructs of antagonistic narcissism and left wing authoritarianism might be the same thing. Antagonistic Narcissism is defined as demonstrating manipulative and exploitative behaviors, indulging in self-perceived entitlement, arrogance, reactive anger, distrust, and lack of empathy.
note: .60 is as high as the correlation between IQ and learning (which is as high as any relationship ever reported in the psych literature) and much higher than the correlation between height and weight (.40).
Another who undertook the study of this topic was the psychotherapist Andrzej Lobaczewski. He coined the term "pathocracy" to describe the process where a pathological minority rule over a majority. He conducted secret research on the role of psychopaths in Communist Poland.
He discussed how psychopaths quickly realize the traumatic effect their personalities have on others, and realize the power this gives them to advance their goals through terror.
Since ideology is simply a means for the psychopath to liberate themselves from what they feel are oppressive normal human customs, Lobaczewski warns “Every great social movement can thereby become a host upon which some pathocracy initiates its parasitic life.” That insight is also vindicated by modern psychological research.
This paper theorized that many narcissists holding left-wing authoritarian views would just as easily hold right-authoritarian views if it provided a better vehicle to satisfy the needs of their ego. This means we would expect narcissists and psychopaths to be especially attracted to ascendant movements which allow them to cancel, dominate and terrorise others.
Today this is provided by the radical left, especially in the form of Antiwhiteism, the trans movement, and pushing the public to fear the climate.
