Just picked up a bottle of this for $20.....first sip ,,kinda meh...I realize its 100 proof BUT still expecting it to be a tad bit smoother

added a tiny ice cube and now its much better....unlikely to buy again.

With better high proof bourbon, the flavors on the back end overcome the alcohol taste

This stuff has decent flavors upfront but on the back end the alcohol taste is too overpowering for me

Evan Williams BIB is a better value at this price point.

I give it about a 5.5....100percent will never buy again

Not bourbon but the lika stow had a sale on these, so I gave it a try

Pretty damn good.....still like Jameson better but this is a great deal at 20-25 percent less

This is almost as good as Jamison to me and 8 bucks less per bottle....the only problem is that it is sooo good and smooth that I drank a whole bottle yesterday.....still feeling groggy, not gonna buy this again for a while


As part of the marketing it comes in a nice container and the bottle is wrapped in a old school "newspaper"

Took a few days off drinking after that bottle of Paddys but had to get something for Derby Day.....

My normal store was out of fresh mint so no mint juleps for me

Went with this brandy.....one of the best values out there at $16 per bottle...but whatever you do , ONLY buy the XO version....anything below it is only slightly cheaper BUT the taste falls off a cliff, even with the VSOP version

It is pretty smooth for such high alcohol content , but make no mistake, there is plenty of fire.........nice flavors but


going to add a small ice cube and see what happens.

Dont think its worth 3x the price of Evan Williams Black
or 1.5x the price of Elijah Craig/Buffalo trace though


Unlikely to buy again anytime soon, so going to enjoy the hell out of this bottle!!!

The more I drink the tastier this becomes straight up.......still drinking it very slowly, microsips.....I can drink one shot continuously (meaning there is always something in my mouth 95 percent of the time) for about 15 min+
