Not discounting LAC +8.5 as usable, but a reminder that both Lakers and Clippers share the same home court...so it's more accurate to cap them both as being at Home.

i was going to say the same thing, they're just going to re-layered the court red.

side note: davis is gametime decision, camby is certainly out.

Does anyone like the Pacers getting 10 tomorrow?

T.J. Ford, Mike Dunleavy, Danny Granger, Troy Murphy, Rasho Nesterovic/Roy Hibbert is a solid five. The size of Dunleavy and Granger allows O'Brien to run a small line-up incorporating rookie Brandon Rush and Jarrett Jack.

Having watched O'Brien in Boston and this past year in Indy, I think this team may be much improved from last year.

indy cashed a couple of preseason games for me getting a lot of points. hard to say though b/c det doesnt have trouble covering spreads like this.

We will be using both TOR and SAC, but will wait until late afternoon to shop lines.

Also using MIA/NY Under 208.5 as I need to be shown that Heat's 93.5 road offense of a year ago can bust for 104+ (the Line Match at +3/208)

I'm thinking Knicks -3, everyone on the heat like they are suddenly some great team. Knicks can score in bunches not sure the Heat have the depth to keep up.

Injuries/Starting lineups info:

  1. Clippers PG Baron Davis (finger) practiced on Monday and participated in contact drills, meaning he will likely play in Wednesday's season opener against the Lakers.
  2. Jazz PG Deron Williams (ankle) is running again but has been ruled out for Wednesday's season opener against the Nuggets.
  3. The 76ers will start Thaddeus Young at SF on Wednesday against the Raptors.

Not a bad lean there KRK

Heat will quite likely have three legit scorers by mid to late December if Beasley works his way into more minutes.

Until then, they're still looking at Wade (28?), Marion (22?) and Haslem (15?) as their front three.

I don't doubt that Knicks may well gravitate towards more uptempo with new coach, but Heat are old school halfcourt.

Initial leans are on Atlanta, Washington, Phoenix, New Orleans and Sacramento, and the Utah/Denver under since Deron Williams will miss the game from what I heard.

Of these leans I will probably play 1-2 of them. Those are the only games I even feel comfortable wagering on in the first place.

Will post later when I want to slack more at work!

As far as the Knicks go, I can't see myself betting on them until they show me what they're made of in the first few weeks. I've been hearing the same story every year about how 'this is the year they become respectable again' and every year it doesn't work out that way. Teams have to earn your trust in them, they can't just win it because you assume they will change. Maybe if Steve Nash was leading the team instead of Chris Duhon I'd be inclined to cut them some slack right out of the gate.

-3 against Miami? Really? Who can match up with Wade? Marion owns any swing man in NY and Michael Beasley could potentially demolish Zach Randolph on the offensive end of the court. This could easily be a Miami victory.

O/U 209? Sorry but last time I checked the Knicks haven't proved anything and the jury is still out on Miami's offence.

Hey guys, keep an eye on the line and total movement

You can see lots of movement early in the season

Like last night, for me i saw the Bucks - Bulls total go from 194 to 198
4 pt. swing,so i hit the over and bingo.

Knicks game.....205.5 to 209

Houston game.....193 to 191

New Orleans game.....209 to 207

Just a few total movements

Not much movement yet with the lines

No Manu for the Spurs....Suns getting 2.5 :think2:

Public all over the Spurs 62%

I would think that the Suns should smack the Spurs around

Tough call

Going to wait for some kind of movement late today....12 games sharps
should be hitting something tonight.

I think he did something like 16 and 5 a game in the pre-season, but don't quote me on those numbers.

I classify Miami as one of those teams that I will fade until I see what they are made of. They could easily tank, but at the same time they might surprise the East and play some good ball. Whenever you have a potential Big 3 in Wade, Marion and Beasley you have to feel that your team can compete, but as we know what's on paper doesn't always translate into reality.

To win the division over Boston, Philly and Toronto? Don't see that happening. I think that money could've been better spent IMO but I wish you best of luck.

As far as Beasley goes, all we can do is wait and see how legit he is.

Suns should win this game by double digits, I'm strongly leaning on them here. Public knows that San Antonio owns Phoenix when it counts, but as basketball sharps know, the Spurs don't really kill themselves to win until the 2nd half of the regular season. Should be an interesting matchup with Manu out. I'll be watching to see if Finley goes off for 20 points and screws Phoenix over.
