absolutely it is not a joke.

Here is Robert Plant himself praising them.

Of course, there is an element of comedy, but far far from a joke;

some things are a matter of opinion. And some things are simply plain facts.

I dont care what anyones opinion is, that opinion is proposterous if it claims that Zepplin is not one of the top 10 bands of all time.

Its a Fact.

Good list there but the Doors scored a little too high. Attitude/Image wise Jim Morrison deserves a lot of credit for shaping the rock world but music wise doors didnt influence to many bands IMO.

That's just way too much bias towards old music.

Yeah well Ludacris didnt do much to influence the world of music so we will keep the thread moving in this direction if you dont mind.

Yeah I hear you, but they are a great band and I wanted to add atleast one modern band. The thing I like about them the most is that they are a "bands band" and their influence on modern rock cannot be denied. And good idea on changing the subject rather than bashing on Skynryd, I could find out where you live if I wanted to.

You are buggn.

Chilli peppers, Nirvana, Pearl jam, candle box, Dave Matthews, Jack Jhonson, U2, Aerosmith, GNR, Van Halen. There has been plenty of talent post 70's.

I don't care for Ludacris. He isn't really part of the culture. It's just popcorn.
