The fight was over a lot more than a couple % points in revenue. I don't really feel like highlighting the entire basis for the lockout.

It was a win/win deal, after '99 lockout people thought the owners owned the players too and salaries soared after that. It is just salaries can start to soar too fast (owners not being able to help themselves/irresponsible) and a correction is needed.

The '11 lockout was just as much about small market vs big market owners as it was about players vs owners. Hence more revenue sharing/stricter luxury tax were the main things to comeout of it.

The players missed paychecks by fighting with the NBA owners. And the fight was over couple % points in revenue. The only point I was making.

You said the players sat out.

Comparing fighting over revenue vs. a silly boycott shows you are a simpleton

The NBA players were locked out for much bigger reasons than "a couple % of revenue"

Instead of admitting you know nothing, you'll triple down on dumb. Dumb is who you are and what you do.

They were locked out because they wouldn't agree to what the owners wanted. Not sure why that is so hard to understand. And then they chose to not accept the agreement and miss paychecks over couple % points of revenue. Not sure why this is so hard for you to understand? Lmao.

I honestly wasn't trying to get in an argument over the lockout. I simply referenced it, using the incorrect word, as a situation where the players missed paychecks and games. Was not talking about who won or loss, was not trying to get in to specifics. But Acebb is a crazy person and will try whatever he can to disagree with me. Now we'll have 5 page long convo about semantics and the lockout that he just googled and learned the information about, lol.

Uh, the players did not "sit out" and it isn't at all comparable to a boycott.

The fact that you can't understand this is quite funny.

The disagreement was about much, much more than "a couple of % points of revenue"

You are very much a simpleton.

The players were forced to miss paychecks and games.

Comparing that to a "boycott" is idiotic.

They were not "forced". They chose not to accept the owners proposal which lead to the lockout. Just like they would choose not to accept the owners allowing Sterling in the league.

Actually, they were forced because the owners refused an agreement that would pay the players.

You didn't use the "wrong word" you are unclear on the concept of analogies.

They were not forced if they voluntarily chose not to accept the agreement.

There's a reason why akphidonk got voted the dumbest poster in the political forum, the guy is a complete idiot, on top of being a troll and a pathological liar.

Hey Zit... would you consider this comment racist?

The country is growing with minorities and they go out of their way to vote - problem is while many of these baboons contribute nothing to society their vote counts as much as mine or yours - so while one group of people succeed in society through hard work, education, etc., they stand a good chance to lose in elections because some degenerate food stamper's vote counts as much as a doctor's - you would think if we have 7% unemployment in 4 years the Republicans would win with ease but they just lost after 4 straight years of a dismal economy, high unemployment and bleak future

So we are left with the dumb little kid trying to ignore the fact that he was referencing an instance where the NBA owners locked out the players, took $3 billion in revenue from them, and the players agreed to this, as an example of how powerful the NBA players are.

And he doesn't understand how stupid of an 'analogy' that was.

I completely disagree. The owners and the NBA would fold before the players. The players are represented by a union.

The last time there was a dispute, the players folded.

To the tune of $3 billion.

You might need a new concept here.

It wasn't an analogy in terms of the players winning or folding, it was an example of the players missing games because they don't like the owners decisions. You are the one who read so far in to it that you can't stop talking about it. What else does Google say about the lockout? Lmao.

Nice logical fallacy. So since the last time there was a dispute over money and the players folded, they would do the same over Sterling being an owner?

Stupid is as stupid does

It's always the same old nonsense with scum. He lives for your attention. He never learns, he never grows up, he always spews hate as scum is prone to do.

The one thing he's good for is fading, so we as a forum need to tolerate his idiocy

Got any election predictions for us? Or any more racist comments you'd like to share?

At this point AK should have some sense of humility and take some time off - at least disappear in this thread - but more likely than not he has sent Vit a PM to come in here and suck his dick a little bit

Just in case people don't realize what kind of person Seymour is... that quote above sent to festeringZit. That was from Seymour.

This is the kind of class Seymour, festeringZit, and Willie roll with!Sorry if I'm not trying to be accepted by you guys.

Uh, except it isn't a logical fallacy since I was responding with a factual example to your speculative bullshit.

Of course since your tiny brain can not understand how wrong you are and how dumb you look, you keep tripling down on your stupidity here.
