It's not even close to stopping. It's just getting started. That's the message coming straight from the mouths of the President and Vice President of the United States. It's disgusting.
The White House Press Secretary weighed in on this particular incident. And instead of praising the officer for saving someone from being stabbed, she played the race card again and basically said this is another example of why we need police reform in the country.
Another frame or two and that knife is moving closer to the victim. In any other world, the cop would be a hero. In our Holly-world, celebrities have weighed in with, "Why didn't the cop shoot in the air, why didn't he just use pepper spray and why didn't he shoot her in the leg?" Of course, most of them view LeBron as a genius.
An interesting dynamic that is happening is because cops are more cautious than ever, the people that actually are getting smoked are becoming even bigger and bigger losers. You have to work hard to get shot by a cop now, so BLM/media is having to defend the indefensible more and more. Whole thing is a bit of a bubble.
I don't really care about the LeBron/Kobe morality debate but Kobe never wading into this stuff is likely just a "times make the man" type of deal. Politics/cultural issues were only really coming into the sports world as Kobe was retiring. You think he would keep his mouth shut while all his peers get lauded by sports media for their "commitment to social justice" stances? Cmon now.

I'll disagree here. Kobe had a much different upbringing than LeBron. He grew up with some money. With a father in the picture. Well educated. And had a very culturally diverse childhood. I'm guessing he didn't see things on this earth as black/white like LeBron chooses to. Of course that's just me speculating based on the differences between the two.

I'm not saying that. You said you thought he would be just as dumb/insufferable. I don't think he would be nearly as dumb and insufferable. Besides the reasons I've already stated, Kobe was much much smarter/intelligent than LeBron. He would have been much smarter picking his words and "battles". And would have never flown off the cuff with some of these dumb social media responses like LeBron posted then deleted the other day. He would have been much more calculated and smart about how he would respond to all this garbage IMO.

I don’t understand why the cops even intervene. Just let them kill each other and move on.
