Where is the picture of Tim Duncan and Steph Curry riding him like a donkey? ;)

Could you imagine both david robinson and Karl Malone beating Jordan more times in the finals than he beat them and then try to convince people he isn't just the greatest player of his era but the greatest player of all-time. In god damn basketball in which you play both ends.

Then you have Cowherd telling people how many more championships Lebron would have if you just dropped him in Boston or Milwaukee or GS.

Well no shit. If you drop a top 10 basketball player onto a team without subtracting anyone in trade and no salary cap concerns and the team is already a favorite to win a championship---well no shit. You could also play this game with at least 10 other players around the league.

edit: go have anthony davis play with Giannis or Steph or Tatum/Brown---see what happens there also

Bad day for the LeBron haters

"Record isn't impressive". Gotta love how the narrative switches from Kareem's record being impossible to catch to now "anyone can do it". Yet no has or has come close for 39 years aside from LeBron

No one will touch LeBron's record for a very long time

People thought the record wouldn't be touched when they thought you had to play a few years of college ball and then basically washed by 35. Athletes are playing at high levels across sports close to 40 now.

Bad day for Lebron haters? I don't consider myself a hater as I like Lebron as a person and athlete but he was never Jordan nor even all that close. For the hater comment. The team is 25-30 and about to miss play-offs for the 2nd straight year. You have anthony davis as your 2nd best player and you still suck. How much better are you actually than everyone else?

Don't be so sure that record won't be touched. A guy in Dallas and Milwaukee will have something to say...They will get the balk of their careers in this new era of teams scoring 120 a night.

Lakers have better net rating than Bucks when LeBron is on court

Lakers have worse net rating than Hornets when LeBron is off the court

Having an often injured AD is meaningless when the rest of your team can't shoot 3's or play defense. Last night was a perfect example.

The fact that LeBron can have that much of an impact on winning in Year 20 when all of the others in the "GOAT" debate were useless corpses at this point (the very few who made it that far) is in itself incredible

Lebron James has never owned the league or even had a single team that has steam rolled the league in a season.

To call him the goat is just silly. He probably/likely is the best player in his era but nobody feared him and his teams were never dominate. Each championship was a real struggle. Many of which were sandwiched between his team being blown out the door in NBA Finals.

Don't get him confused with Jordan. The media loves him because of his strong liberal view points. They over look and want you to over look a lot of his faults as a basketball player. I personally think Lebron is a fine person but his peak was no where near a Jordan. Jordan owned the league for 7 years. James has NEVER owned the league like that...

It's just the truth.
Truth ?

Winning? The team is 10th out of 15 teams in the west.

The guy hasn't made play offs in 3 years and talking about winning? He can't even get them to 10th in a horrible western conference and you're talking about winning. Lol

Kareem 100% should be in the discussion as well. I think debate can be had that he is #2 over MJ. His success probably too tied to Magic though

Jordan had more team success and individual awards. Which was the point of GOAT debate.

Now that James has virtually no chance to pass Jordan on any of this the goals posts gets move to longevity records.

Typical west coast/liberal/present day bias nothing more...

The guy won 4 time in 20 years. Move even the slightest things and it could be taken down to 1.

Duncan beat him 2 of 3 in finals Steph beat him 3 of 4 in NBA finals.

Lebron simply never ran the league. He ran the Eastern Conference. Jordan ran the league. Shaq/Kobe ran the league. Magic/Bird ran the league.

Lebron ran the league more on a scale of a Tim Duncan. With even less championships.

Great analysis by one of the sharpest NBA minds out there.

Recommend listening to him regularly if capping NBA. Great knowledge of ins and outs of the game, as well as the history of the game

I like how people just gloss over how the Lakers once again lost last night.

Going into last season this roster was suppose to be best in the NBA---even according to Fruit(this is a great team) who now claims as just about all LeBron fan boys claim as once again a lebron James led team is underachieving that lebron needs more help. Now it's just a garbage roster that needs more help and not Lebron's fault.

Cleveland, Miami, Cleveland(again), and now LA. The same narrative his whole career. Team underachieving from preseason predictions not James fault needs more help. Laughable.

I mean jeesh. Jordan had Pippen. This guy has had Irving, Love, Wade, bosh, AD and nothing really works with him over any extending periods.

Timpf has good summary of Lakers incompetence with LeBron off the court , and how poor Ham/front office has been in coaching/personnel decisions

Very good breakdown of teams’ strength and weaknesses in general

Lol. Once again the teams failed lebron.

Cleveland failed lebron. Miami failed lebron. Cleveland again failed lebron. Now LA is failing lebron.

Obviously everyone else.

Though once again heading into last season. Lakers were the strong favorite to win the title. Favored over Brooklyn and Milwaukee

Not only didn't they win. They didn't even qualify for the play-in tourny. But not James fault...haha.
