It's hilarious how stupid and contradictory the below article is---Lebron is now the unquestioned GOAT because of the scoring record. Was Kareem(even though without question one of the greatest of all-time) ever considered the GOAT? Even though he had the most points and 2 extra championships then Lebron? Yet Lebron passes him and debate over with Jordan. LOL

It's funny to me how once this argument was about winning championships and seasonal individual achievements and now that Lebron has no chance at any of this its career longevity records. Haha

Now another season in which Lebron will fail to even make a top 10 seed in a 15 team conference and he has proven without a shadow of a doubt he is the best. You just can't make this stuff up.

Anyone that isn't a fan boy or hero worshiper should plainly see these years are hurting his GOAT claim not enhancing it. The best 2 players in his conference are Jokic and Luka. Two guys that if they had played in the 80s or 90s people would have laugh in this era using them as examples of why the players in this era are sooo much better...Think about that for a second.

Not to shabby for a 38 year old. He always had an attitude obvious not many liked. FU "You All" would've been more business like!

I forgot who said this but pretty much sums up the debate.

Lebron James owned the eastern conference to the same extent that MJ owned the entire league.

I still can't get over people making this record into some end all be all. Hell Kareem who more championships more MVPs than Lebron and nobody ever really talks about Kareem as the GOAT. Yet a guy with less championships, less MVPs but has scored 2 more career points is now the unquestioned GOAT. Leading another team straight into the bottom of the league for the 2ND STRAIGHT YEAR. hahahaaa

Lebron is the greatest 35 and over player ever. Without question. Until these other super stars start to age and now understand the science of how to take care of their bodies. Lebron was simply one of the first to get this science. There are going to be plenty of 35 plus that will surpass this also. But as of now---the unquestioned best ever.

I mean Jesus. Karl Malone played in the exact same era as Jordan and scored substantially more points. Then like now should still be a collective---who gives a fuck.

Not to even get into how much easier it is to score in this era.(rule changes, understand the importance of three point shot) Much the same as passing yards in the NFL.

4 championships---2 of them won by the most iconic shots in NBA Finals History. 1 of them won in the bubble in which the season was very close to just being canceled.

He is very very lucky to have 4. You remove just a player here or there and Jordan still wins all 6 easily. None of those 6 had anything to do with luck.

Could you imagine Jordan back in the 80s or 90s averaging 30 a game and his team 10th in the conference. O that's right he did about that in the beginning of his career(they actually would make the play-offs) and was crucified for it. But Lebron is celebrated and we just keep hearing him say he needs more help---like almost every fking season he has been in the league.

Not sure why ESPN and the NBA weren't sucking LeBron's dick when he broke this record?

He's going to have 5,000 soon, don't see anyone breaking this record, ever.

It ain't football lol turnovers a lot less significant in terms of team success and much more about style of play/pace

Warriors turned the ball over the second most in the league last year, always up there in turnovers year after year, and yet they're the dynasty of this generation and the defending champs.

Haters are what make Lebron even more famous.
It's pretty impressive how he never really addressees them

Skip Bayless has been spewing hate for him on national TV for 20 years, and LeBron has never acknowledged him

Even Skip was impressed by this record though. It is probably going to last longer than Kareem's

Jokic had nobody last year---made the play-offs.
Luka had a guy named jalen brunson--made the play-offs

This year. Luka has even less and in the play-offs. Jokic has jamal murray and the 1 seed.

Lebron has anthony davis and still not good enough or even close to make the play-offs. Needs more help. Like every season.

I love all the great players he has gotten over the years but than after playing with Lebron are now considered trash. From Kevin Love to Chris Bosh to now Anthony Davis. The only one that avoided this was Wade.

It is funny to see that MJ's greatest argument is "6-for-6"

So if LeBron was 4-0 in the Finals instead of 4-6, haters would probably think his legacy is better. Guess he should've been losing to the Raptors and Celtics more before the Finals to preserve his legacy

Then people try to defend him over the whole---"o GS had an unbeatable super team,"

Really? He started that shit in Miami and then tried again in Cleveland. GS was just better at it...

With that said he was lucky his super team even won 2 championships in Miami. Spurs gave the first one away and then just a regular ole built Spurs team blew the doors off James super team in the rematch.

what? Jordan lost in the beginning of his career and stop losing after he won the 1st championship.

Lebron has lost plenty. Won b2b once his entire career. Jordan won 3 straight retired, won 3 straight again and retired again.

You're actually trying to make an argument James won more than Jordan. LOL

James went to 10 finals because half of those teams didn't belong there.

Lebron dominated a water down east. Then when his team played the big boy team those finals weren't even close.

OMG, Lebron James beat the likes of Chauncey Billups, Rip Hamilton, Demar Derozen, Kyle Lowry.

Just think. Those were the other best players in the east at that point.

Now he is leading another Lakers team into the basement. Because he "only" has Anthony Davis. Haha

But whatever---fan boys will fan boy. But facts are facts.

Lebron has achieved less individual success and team success than numerous players---not just Jordan. He though preaches the politics liked by the media and is the star of the present---so obviously best ever, because of--i guess longevity is now their offical reason. haha

Just a quick reminder. James also got crushed a lot early in his career.

He took numerous 1 seeds that flamed out early in the EC play-offs...At lest when Jordan lost early---he was known as the best player but never the favorite in those series.
