Disagree with all of this, especially the bolded part. From someone who watched both play they're entire careers I could never believe this. The main difference was when MJ played he was far better than anyone else. There may have been a better passer, better defender, better shooter, but no one came close to the entire package as Michael did. This is why he was and still is worshipped. I've never thought Lebron was that much better than the other superstars the NBA had to offer during his time, I just don't. If Lebron could have averaged 30+ a lot more (while still winning) he would have. But he hasn't, because he couldn't. Jordan is the most like Brady, you put a few guys around him and you'll win. No one on this planet has ever thought that about LBJ. He had to head for higher ground to get his Chips. Also LeBron could've averaged 30+ a lot more if that's all he focused on.
He is more of an all-around player than MJ
Hell LeBron averaged 30 in Year 19 lol just nuts
Not to mention that the officiating was WAY better during MJ's time, they made guys earn they're points and they called traveling. Getting 3 steps to 2 makes it a different game. I mean these street ballers have to call it a "gather step" just to jusify them taking 3 steps and traveling. It really is a joke. Also, there was no metirc saying a 3 pt shot is better than a 2pt shot. You know why that metric exists right? Its cause no one plays defense anymore, especially 25 feet from the hoop. You take the ball to the hoop now it will ALWAYS be a defensive foul. A guy oculd jump straight up and the whistle comes. Offensive players make most of the contact these days and get rewarded for it. So now players don't work as hard at defense and I don't blame them. Most players have considerably worse fundamentals now. Hell, the Celtics have a superstar making 60 Million a year who literally struggles dribbling the ball. Its just a different game and I can't name one friend of mine who says its "better".
MJ did it during the toughest of times and he swept the finals with the same team. Extra points for that.
On top of this who could route for a guy who flops like a baby when hit. Dude is so physically gifted and acts like a child, its embarrasing for the sport (and him).
