I do think athlete-hate is for little kids, but don't think that is really applicable to this situation. And I don't think criticizing Lavar has anything to do with race.

1. He has essentially stolen from his son. And its not like Lonzo will be making Lebron type of $$. He is a roll player at best.
2.He has ruined his middle sons chances of getting a degree from UCLA. Anyone could see that he had zero chance of playing in the NBA. No joke, at that same age. I think I was better.
3.The youngest kid is now a hs drop out. Cant play in hs or college. Missing out on some of the best times of his life being 17 playing with his friends
