I think one of the reasons that the sports media hasn't been as harsh on Lavar for the imploding of his business plan is that they're very complicit in this matter. They gave him the platform to act like a jackass and empowered him which in turn raised his profile. Thus giving him the brilliant vision to mess with all of his kids futures.

When the Lakers were trying to trade for Leonard - SA would not consider Ball as anything of value - literally did not want him included - he's a decent player - think maybe his papi played a role
