This is obviously just an outsiders perspective from someone who has been following along with this situation...
Its my opinion that most if not all of the parties involved in this squabble take themselves and their role on this site a little too seriously.
I think all sides need to lighten up and bit and keep things in perspective here.

This is very sensibly written.
And underscores the most pertinent fact which is that the decision to no longer post (for now.....they almost all come back) is solely that of WW himself.
The average RxForum reader would likely be astonished if they knew just how many posts were edited due by all of the Mods at one time or another due to overtly inflamtory content.
Perhaps WW will actually do what he intimates in his first post of this here thread. Get involved with other non-sports forum life.
Imagine that if you can.
Would probably do all of us more good than not to do just the same.

Damn this place is doing something to lose some great posters. WW TT and GD are the three that come to mind for me. All three I would think would be great to have around a gambling forum. Two of them I know for a fact are not just good posters but good honest people (sorry i don't know GD)

I'll miss whale. He's an asshole and that's why I like him. Hell I came on here last week and spread my personal business around like a little bitch. Some said suck it up and move on that no one cares and you know what I agree. It's a gambling site, who the hell wants to hear my divorce stories!!!! All kidding aside , its a bummer that quality posters like this are run off the site by agenda ridden mods ... Whale was a solid contributer on multiple forums on this site, he was an everyday poster and his style and delivery was a staple of my daily diet of reading on this forum. I will miss him and its a damn shame our very own site mods are the ones who drove him away ...
Whale, you have to expect that when you speak out against a mod like you did that you would get a temporary ban. Any message board would do the same. It's not just a matter of barman or wil not liking you. I would bet they do like you.

I dont want to speak for Whale, but this is just my feeling...
Him deciding to leave had little to do with being banned in the Poly Forum for a short period of time. He probably even understands or agrees with it. Him leaving is more of a big picture thing.
Still kind of dumb though in my opinion. Why take all of this so seriously?
