RGIII was a better passer than LJ and as good as an athlete with speed. He won games for the Redskins then when he ran, he got hurt.

RGIII is a good comparison to LJ but RGIII was a better QB.

He was a better passer. Who isn’t? Not as good as an athlete tho you are insane.

Rg3 couldn’t run like Lamar. Hell no. I will take Lamar Jackson any day of the week over that RG3. Why? IQ in their early years are not comparable. On and off the field It’s not even close i would take Lamar Jackson every day of the week in that regard. Rg3 was a dumbass on and off the field.

Everybody wants to blame the redskins staff for getting him hurt lmfao. Mother fucker learn how to protect yourself. He didn’t know how to do that. Period. His slides were terrible he took way too many hits. Lamar runs it way more than him and barely gets hit outside the pocket lol.

The pocket is usually where you get hurt anyway.

RGIII can't run like Lamar and isn't a better athlete? He was a track star in HS and ran track at Baylor. He was a stud athlete. Really?

Let me just leave this here for you:

In track, Griffin broke state records for the 110-meter and 300-meter hurdles. He ran the 110-meter hurdles in 13.55 seconds and the 300-meter hurdles in 35.33 seconds. The 300 hurdles time was 1/100th of a second short of tying the national high school record at the time. He was also a gold medalist in the 110- and 400-meter hurdles on the AAU track and field circuit.

In 2007, as a junior, he was rated the No. 1 high school 400-meter intermediate hurdler in the country, and was tied at No. 1 for the 110-meter sprint hurdler in the nation. His personal best in the 110-meter hurdles, 13.46 sec, ranked fifth in the world among
junior athletes in 2007 (behind Noga, Brathwaite, Dutch, and Vladimir Zhukov), while his best 2007 time in the 400-meter hurdles, 49.56 sec—his personal best until 2008—led all juniors worldwide for that year. Also as a junior, Griffin received the Gatorade Texas Boys Track and Field Athlete of the Year award and was named to USA Today′s 2007 All-USA Track and Field team. His personal best in the 400-meter hurdles was achieved on May 18, 2008, with a time of 49.22 seconds.

BTW - RGIII's Wonderlic score was 24. LJ's score? 13.

Lamar is probably the better athlete; he sure is a more versatile runner than RG3. RG3 has the better arm for sure. I think Lamar has the benefit of a better environment for a young QB; great coach, organization, team (especially on defense)

As far as IQ goes, I don’t know how you could say Lamar is smarter off the field. Have you heard the guy talk? He seems like a very nice guy, but he comes off as pretty fucking dumb. He seems to have pretty good instincts on the field though, which matters more obviously.

5-1 in his first six NFL starts and he just beat an 11-3 team on the road. By the way, he took over a very average 4-5 team who was being led by a SB winning QB.

When Tom Brady hangs it up, I pray that we get a guy like this to take over.

I don't care what he does great or not so great. He's a rookie with a lot to learn, yet he wins, wins, wins right now. Gimme that kid to lead my team.

Main thing (said ITT when him/Flacco was being debated) is they can run the ball way better with LJax and it allows their defense to rest which has led to them dominating as of late.

Flacco just going 3 and out over and over was killing them. LJax might be limited but he fits exactly what they need to do to win with their current roster.

off the field I mean things that can hurt your play. I don’t give a flying fuck about the way he talks lmao cmon dude. You serious?

Rg3 you forgot signed up for every commercial he could and wanted to be as popular as possible his rookie year. That’s what I mean by smarter off the field. That potentially can affect your play on the field when you want to be a celebrity. Lamar Jackson wants to play football. Rg3 wanted to be bigger than that. That comes down to smarts and having the right people around you.

Tim Tebow realed off what? 4 in a row against good teams all at the last second of the game and shit? And won a playoff game. He also had a very good defense. A defense that won it all a few years later in a dominate fashion. Yet the public and media raved about Tim Tebow. He was the savior. The chosen one. Everybody was rooting for him even though the gms all knew it wouldn’t last. Seems like Lamar Jackson has to work backwards to please people...has to win a super bowl first and then people will say he’s good lol. Similar situations as far as a lot of doubters but more so in this situation because people want him to fail

They want him to fail because he’s a black qb 100% Justine cruise and Enflameos hope. But for Tebow....”Tebowwwwww Timeeeeee” letsgoooo Tebowwww another miracle letsgoooooo.” But nah let’s not cheer for Lamar Jackson winning in dominate fashion. Let’s not do that.

Flacco was a median-level Qb for the last few years now, and he's made a career off a brilliant postseason run. He could be a good upgrade for some teams looking for a slight upgrade (maybe he goes to Washington or Jacksonville, maybe Miami??). The writing was on the wall when they drafted Jackson. Both sides knew it.

It was great for Baltimore to be able to rejuvenate their team with Jackson in the short-term. They can run the ball and keep their great defense fresher because of it. I like the attitude that Jackson carries, and I think the Ravens just needed some change. They needed to rally around something. They look like a team that's playing with nothing to lose, and it's working in their favor.

I just don't think he's good enough to be a long-term solution in this league. You need to be an accurate thrower to be a successful QB in the NFL long-term, and he simply isn't. Maybe he can get there, but accuracy is a reallllly hard thing to develop at this stage of your football career.

With that said I think they have enough momentum to contend this year, especially when you consider how vulnerable the rest of the AFC is. Only situation I don't give them a chance in is visiting Foxboro.

Wonderlic scores don't mean everything but it certainly gives an indicator about who is smarter in real life. Why is that odd to you?

The way he talks his an indicator of his education level. It's no secret LJ can't string a proper sentence together. He's not very smart. That doesn't mean he can't run fast or throw the ball though.

Why do you always do this?

Nobody has said a word about LJ's skin color in this thread. Nobody but you. It's so weird.

This is a very good point.

The situation with the Ravens and L.Jackson reminds me very much of the 49ers and Kapernick at their best couple years. They just about won the Superbowl. Play really great defense, play a safe, conservative offense. Execute well. It is a winning combo when done right. The Ravens have done it a few times, with Dilfer, Flacco, etc. It doesn't make Jackson or those other guys quality QB's.

A mobile QB helps you run the ball. If they had Flacco at QB, their running game and defense wouldn't be playing as well.

It's just hard to build a team that way because the game is socially engineered to do the exact opposite from the rules to the CBA/salary cap.
