They've run the ball a lot better with Jackson at QB. Their passing game gonna be a struggle with either 1 at QB given their overall lack of talent.

They just gotta grind teams down.

And then a team fills the box and stops the run, then what happens?

I just don't think one superbowl 5 years ago is that relevant. He had an insane run in that playoffs but has been extremely average since then. There is 0% chance they make a run with Flacco, might as well go with the 5% shot with Jackson

He's an experienced above average NFL QB. That's my only point.

It's gonna be harder to stop the run with a mobile QB than w/ Flacco and that is their calling card on O either way. He just fits their current team better.

We saw them play 9 games with Flacco this year with offenses leaguewide going bonkers and it wasn't very good. Like other posters said, they got a good D but now it is able to be fresher with more ball control. It's a much harder style to play now than even a few years ago but Ravens are a unique team and I'd say that's how they should play.

Those teams have lower ceilings but Ravens offense doesn't have a high ceiling with Flacco either. And a lower floor to boot if it is inhibiting their ability to run the ball.

I guess we'll see.

Well, we just saw them be average/mediocre the last 3.5 years with Flacco despite having a good defense for most of that duration. So you could say we've already seen.

In what way has he been above average this year or in the last few years? I don't see any stat where he is above average - TDs, Rating, Completion % all average or below.

I just don't see him as above average anymore (if ever outside of 1 or 2 years)

Flacco knows he is done there. It would surprise even him if he got a start again there. Hes gone. Off to elsewhere

And we saw a below average QB win the Ravens a title once too. It’s a team game. Flacco doesn’t lose games for them does he?

I don't think so. I think everyone would take the 14 QBS below all above him. I personally think he is equal or worse than Stafford/Dalton/Mariotta/Prescott/Mayfield/Keenum but those could be argued I guess? So I dont think I would say he is top 16

Brady
Brees
Rivers
Rodgers
Mahommes
Goff
Ryan
Trubisky
Luck
Wilson
Wentz
Cousins
Watson
Newton

I would take all the QB's you listed over him too.

at some point one of these run first qbs will break through and win a super bowl but is it a long term winning strategy? i dont think so. baltimore has a great defense and solid kicking game. i suppose if he doesnt turn the ball over they are a threat if they make the playoffs. i dont think he can orchestrate a 2 minute game winning touchdown drive but aside from that he can keep you in games. i do think baltimore has made their choice at this point but they are gonna use him like an rb and beat him up on his rookie contract and then he wont have much left. they arent extending has career much with this style of play, likely cutting it short imo. he has however been very good at getting out of bounds and not taking too many hits but even a few hits are more than the average qb takes.

Yea, one of those running QBs will get a SB. Like Russell Wilson.

The more of them there are, the more likely it is to happen again.

THe kid is 3-0 with mediocre offensive weapons for help.

If, and I only say if, because I don't know, he can't properly run a two minute offense he can join most of the QBs in the NFL including most on your "Top 16" list.

It's what separates Tom Brady from most of the rest. He is the smartest and best at the 2 minute offense.

Is he a running Tom Brady? I doubt it. But he doesn't have to be that to move into the Top 16.

The most important thing he needs to do is protect the ball. How many of your Top 16 do that well?

Give the kid a chance. So far, so good. You can't do better than 3-0 with a mediocre team around you.

But RW has the arm and accuracy they don’t have. He runs out of necessity. They run out of preference.

230 rushing yards a game with him in the lineup. Easy schedule but they did give KC all they could handle @ Arrowhead.
