I mean if Florida State loses and Michigan wins (looks like they will win easily tonight), then it's going to be pretty straightforward:

1 Michigan
2 Washington
3 Texas
4 Alabama
That will be it even if Florida State wins….it is written in the SEC Bible

I'm sure it is

In all seriousness, if the committee was going to have Alabama automatically leapfrog Florida State, then they wouldn't have ranked them #8 and Florida State #4

A Georgia win is obviously massive, but not sure how Florida State is jumped at #4 if they win with their third-stringer against a top 15 team, when the two teams were 3+ spots behind them and a team in front of them also lost

FSU is out no matter what they do. The 4th spot will be between Bama. OSU and Texas. Bama was 8th and won by 3. FSU has no QB and Texas beat a shit team. Bama, Texas, OSU all with 1 loss. That's assuming Michigan wins vs Iowa only being up 10-0.

Wouldn't that be 3 teams for two spots? Forgetting Georgia too

Michigan and Washington would be only teams in in that scenario

In all due respect you're wrong regarding FSU. Just my opinion

Agreed

The debate is between Alabama and Florida State

Michigan (if they win), Washington, Texas looking good
I would say UGA and Texas very much in that debate with FSU and Bama. Texas probably gets fucked, wouldn’t be shocked to see 1.) MICH, 2.) WSH, 3.) BAMA and 4.) UGA

If FSU does manage to get in, still think BAMA jumps them, they’d never align WSH-FSU as a semi-final, it be the least watched game in playoff history.

“ The Best” is what the fans want to see

But the committee might puss out and go with “The Deserving” and also be political… no two teams from one conference in the playoffs (sigh)

I thought you were the one to say that an undefeated power 5 conference team is in no matter what?

Like I said earlier, why would the committee have put Florida State back up to #4 if they cared so much about the QB situation?

And why was Alabama #8? Why were them and Texas behind Ohio State?

Beating Georgia is huge, but it's not earth shattering

I can't see ALabama and Georgia both getting in unless both Michigan and Florida State lose

They've been willing to put in two teams from one conference in past though

Multiple times with SEC and last year with the Big Ten

If somehow Michigan and FSU loses this is what it will look like.

Washington
Texas
Alabama
Georgia/OSU

If Michigan and Louisville win or if Michigan and FSU win OSU and Georgia are out. Georgia needs a FSU and Michigan loss or they're out.

FSU needed a dominant win with their QB issue and that's not gonna happen.
