Four years $200,000,000.00 for this psycho, not a chance. They should trade him to the worst team in the league. Let that fool rot in Detroit or Houston.
Irony. Those teams wouldn't want him anyways...

No young and/or rebuilding would touch him with a 100 foot pole.

Not that its suprising but

Projected Lineup: Edmond Sumner, Seth Curry, Joe Harris, Royce O'Neale, Nic Claxton

  • Kyrie Irving (calf) — Out
  • Ben Simmons (knee) — Out
  • TJ Warren (shin) — Doubtful
  • David Duke Jr. (G League) — Out
  • Kevin Durant (knee) — Injured
They have 2 players(Irving, Simmons) that don't want to play basketball. They just want the lifestyle and platform it creates for them...Can't blame them completely, but jeesh go throw a ball through a hope for a few hours. Not that hard. haha

Why teams can't touch these 2 guys and Nets happen to have both of them...

Kyrie is running out of NBA teams.

What’s the going rate for a racist lunatic that happens to be cancer in the locker room?

Irving balled and kept quiet for 2 weeks and thinks this entitles him to a 4 year/200 million contract. That's his mentality.

Simmons is literally scared of a basketball hoop and is mentally unstable. Somewhat lucky for the Nets Simmons is mentally unstable as an introvert while Kyrie as an extrovert---likes to put his mental illness on full display.

Neither of them are competitors. They just want to be paid and move on with their day.

“With Ben, we are just cautious with our approach. At the end of the day we are just talking about having guys healthy at the end of the year,” Vaughn said. “Ben did experience some soreness and we want to make sure that soreness and swelling is out of there as he gets ready to get back on the court.”

When Simmons was sidelined in November with soreness and swelling in the same knee, an MRI exam at the time came up “clean” according to Vaughn. Now Simmons has gotten another, which discovered no changes or new injuries.

“Yes, Ben did get an MRI,” Vaughn said, “and nothing was revealed differently than from the previous ones.”

Basically. Doctors aren't really seeing anything but Ben says it's sore.(twice)

Simmons doesn't want to play basketball any longer but obviously wants his cash. He was suppose to be back next game and of course now its game 4, game 5---watch him sit out over a month with this like always...

Just interesting to see...

Kyrie And Westbrook Not Playing Tonight
I almost would think Brooklyn would have a better shot at a win tonight without him playing? Same with the Lakers without Westbrick playing. I know you have the other teams picked already. Do you still stick with the original plays with the nice plus points already? Wishing you luck with those and thanks for always posting strong picks.

Nets' Kyrie Irving out with calf soreness after trade request.

NEW YORK -- One day after he requested a trade, Brooklyn Nets guard Kyrie Irving will not play in Saturday's game against the Washington Wizards because of right calf soreness, the team announced.
On Friday, Irving told the Nets that he wants out of Brooklyn ahead of Thursday's trade deadline after failing to negotiate terms on a long-term contract extension, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Irving was not initially listed on the first injury report Friday, but he will now miss his third game this season because of injury -- he also missed eight games because of his suspension in November -- as the drama and intrigue around his future in Brooklyn grows prior to next week's trade deadline.
Irving, 30, is averaging 27.1 points, 5.3 assists and 5.1 rebounds this season.
Nets big man Ben Simmons also will miss his fourth straight game Saturday because of left knee soreness.
The Los Angeles Lakers and Phoenix Suns are already expressing interest in discussing an Irving trade and the Dallas Mavericks are expected to do so soon, sources told ESPN on Friday.
Irving did not furnish a list of preferred teams, but his marketplace is small and it's clear he is hoping that a team will trade for him with intention of signing him to an extension in the offseason.
Irving, who is in the final year of a deal that pays him $36.9 million, has been seeking in the neighborhood of a four-year, $198.5 million maximum extension available to him until June 30, sources said. If Irving is traded, he is eligible to sign a two-year, $78.6 million extension with his new team until June 30.

I'm thinking both being out means a trade possibly.

Sources: Clippers join trade talks for Nets' Kyrie Irving.

The LA Clippers have joined the pursuit of Brooklyn Nets star Kyrie Irving, sources told ESPN on Saturday.
The Los Angeles Lakers, Dallas Mavericks and Phoenix Suns -- among others -- have been engaging with the Nets since Irving's trade demand Friday, sources said. And now the Clippers -- who've been in the trade market for a point guard -- are probing a possible deal too, sources said.
Irving has not given the Nets a list of preferred destinations, but there's strong mutual interest between him and the Lakers that goes back to the summer. LeBron James is an immense proponent of making a deal for his former Cavaliers teammate, and the Lakers are operating as a motivated suitor for Irving, sources said.
The Nets are proceeding in talks throughout the league as though they're determined to find a deal for Irving ahead of the NBA trade deadline Thursday at 3 p.m. ET, sources said. Brooklyn has been working to find deals that can keep the Nets in contention with the relatively imminent return of All-NBA star Kevin Durant, who has been out since mid-January with an MCL sprain.
After a brief back-and-forth on a possible contract extension last week, Irving ended talks and informed the team that he wanted to be traded, sources said.
Irving, who is in the final year of a deal that pays him $36.9 million, has been seeking in the neighborhood of a four-year, $198.5 million maximum extension available to him until June 30, sources said. If Irving is traded, he will be eligible to sign a two-year, $78.6 million extension with his new team until June 30.
Irving did not play in the Saturday game against the Wizards because of right calf soreness. The Nets are 31-20 but have lost seven of 11 games since Durant was sidelined.
Irving, 30, is averaging 27.1 points, 5.3 assists and 5.1 rebounds this season.
