He made a claim, and can't back it up. If he could, he would. You guys better get your heads out of the sand about this nice guy. Congradulations to all the winners. Now there are multiple claims of people getting special priveledges over other customers. Spiro has got to be happy about that. But again, Ted is special. And if you have a problem with what I say, called Olympic, accounting, or CS, ask Wally, or Spiro himself. Don't take my word for it, prove it to yourself.

I respectfully disagree on your evaluation of how we moderate the site, however. We do beleive in free speech but we do not like clutter.... most of our posters feel the same way as 95% of the time when we edit or move a thread, it is at the request of a poster who has reported an offending post to us.....

I am simply pointing out that the vast majority of the posting community prefers a Tight ship in terms of moderating, & they prove this to us by helping us with the job

Have not been doing anything. My reads died when I got sick, I was buying early and getting clocked by steam, even if I was right. I am going to stand down and live off the fat during the holidays. Shit, I may even retire. I missed a total yesterday I think when TMac was out. It was low to begin with, but without him scoring and drawing defenders that team cannot score. I was playing some Star Wars video game with my 4 year old. I am either dedicated, motivated or not. Right now, not. My best months are Jan-Apr. Freakin holidays with a family big as mine are a distraction at a minimum. I refuse to post plays when I am not on. I think I can survive until then. Might even shutdown DB to protest the price increase in December. Nothing worse than trying to enjoy the holidays with your family checking scores and grinding. I can't do both well, and family comes first. I guess I can say hi to Jack in the rubber room.

I also prefer the selective poster part of it. From history, tofu is a bigtime complainer, in fact, he wanted the mod job you got. SS, we both started at the RX at the same time. We both took a lot of abuse for being outspoken and going against the grain. Now you are on the other side of the fence. I am happy you are a mod. But don't fool yourself, both you and I took our lumps and abuse and fought through it. You give the slightest abuse to Ted and he is asking for mod help. If he isn't whining about being sick, or being bypassed as a mod, it is about some mean poster calling him out. Even you and I went back and forth, but you finally figured out my game. But you know what? I respect somebody that battles on their own volition instead of hiding behind the mods. You know how many nice guys succeed in this business?

So what your saying is Spiro has rules, but plays favorites to other customers. Is that great? And you are sure, not you think, he really got that payout. Only sure thing is death and taxes. I am happy for your claim of good fortune and being allowed special treatment. But to the customers that have been there forever, and do not get your special treatment, I think they are not feeling too happy. No customer likes to be told some customers are better than them.
